Frustrating
My surgery was canceled and rescheduled, twice, days before each surgery. I was told three different reasons by different staff members. Super frustrating. I had heard Dr. Gill is a good surgeon but half the battle is being able to make it in to the operating room. I sought a second opinion and went with someone else.

His, secretary sent me for a covid test to a facility that did not do that test. This was hard on me seeing that I was recovering from open heart surgery. And was having a hard time getting around. Messaged his office from my chart and never received a reply. And it was about my sternum clicking and popping. My sternum is giving me problems and no one cares.and he performed the surgery??

Dr. Gill did not explain all the risks involved with my surgery, even with meeting with him twice before my surgery. I had many complications and his surgical report did not mention any. I have to rate him as one star. If there was a zero, I would rate him as that.

Excellent surgeon.About 2.5 months ago my husband had a quadruple bypass surgery, aortic valve replacement and a good portion of aorta replaced. Original plan was to replace the valve and only do triple bypass, plus repair or replace just a small portion of aorta.When he opened up his chest and assessed the true condition of his heart,he decided right on the spot to proceed with more aggressive approach.He is very knowledgeable,experienced surgeon and quickly makes tough decisions .
