Dr. is A. Office grade F.
Personally, he's a peach and he takes appointments in my town which I appreciate. He's informed and easy to speak with. I like his care very much.HOWEVER, the doctors who cover don't know creatinine from cows. A week in the hospital and the drs. flipped a coin for my treatment. The office is a puppet show. Nurses are assigned to patients, but only work certain days and can't be reached. I need MY nurse. This isn't a take this pill and call me in the morning situation. My next option-call and leave a message. For those who don't know, dialysis pulls the toxins out of your body when the kidneys quit functioning. How much do I use? Do I follow the course I've done for four years? It's like leaving your car with a mechanic who claims your horn is the reason the car won't start. Flip your own coin to decide.

I really appreciated the time Dr. Islam took to explain my health issues, and show me my CT scan and explain it to me. I had questions that had not been answered by other medical people. I was very impressed with Dr. Islam, and have told many people that.

I waited over an hour to see him. Had to redo my paperwork because they "misplaced" it. He gave me 12 minutes, half of that wasted on his "intern", didn't even have my right test results, was egocentric and condensending and charged for an extended visit. If a Dr. cannot be prepared for a visit, he should cancel or reschedule it. Certainly wasn't worth a 349.00 bill. That doesn't include the test he made me "retake", the time off work or the worthless wait. Do they forget that we miss work, have to travel and wait months to actually see them??

He is always late for appointments, doesn't answer questions I have and spent approximately 1-1/2 minutes with me this morning. . .I asked him about my anemia, and he just said it wasn't that bad and walked out of the room. . .all this after keeping me waiting over an hour (I was the first patient of the day on his schedule) I will never see him again!
