Patient abandonment
My experience with Dr. Khawaja was great at first. Everything was great. It really seemed like an answered prayer. I showed up late to my esketaminr appointment last week. That’s all on me. I wrote it down wrong in my calendar. When I showed up I explained that and asked if there was any way they could fit me in. I told them I had recently started EMDR and had processed my father’s death the day before and I was really counting on it. They still said no so I chased my girlfriend down since she had already left. At this point I was more aggravated by their flippant attitude. On my way home I called to talk to my provider Dr. Patterson. The person they hired to answer phones answered. I told him I was frustrated because he doesn’t relay my messages in a timely manner at all. I asked him to let my call go through to the office. I called 2 more times and hung up when he answered. Buy the time I was home I was calm and needed time to decompress. She called me after I had made it

Lack of care
Saw doctor Kawaja on my first visit, he assigned me to one of the nurse practitioners. I was trying to get help with anxiety meds, each call was like starting over. Nurse did not seem to have good understanding of meds and then when I stated anxiety level was up, recommended either I take a break from the meds or try Ambilify which is an extreme depression medication. Practitioner stated this was our last visit as she was leaving but would have the doctor give me a call. It’s now been 2 days with no call. I do not recommend this practice!
