Dr. Imhona Eko-Isenalumhe, MD

Never properly listened when I told him of my back hurting he would grab my bra straps and shake my boots up and down and say they was my problem won't talk about anything else. He also about killed my husband with metformin. A type 2 diabetes med, when asking to low the dose due to him losing over 100lbs and his a1c dropped to 5 he told my husband to stay on the highest dose of metformin. He was throwing up daily and declining fast I finally got my husband to ignore the doctor suggestions when I did research and showed him. Firing dr.eko was the best decision we made. My husband is thriving and no longer diabetic.

I recently moved to the area and was in search of a Dr. That could help with my heart issues, blood pressure, etc. Front staff mentioned they cant take the insurance I have. So they told me it wouldn't be a problem to be seen as a cash pay patient if I canceled my Insurances which I was going to be losing within a couple months anyway. So I terminated my coverage with both insurance companies. To be told the day of my appt that because of everything he doesn't think it would be a good fit (everything being one of his upfront receptio nist from day one who made it apparent that she didnt like me(I don't evn know her.) & completely rude, nothig professional about her, & her attitude as the other lady says she gets complaints like that a lot. Seems like it's a staff issue that tells a patient cancel your insurance coverage and then we' can take you. So now no insurance, no dr, no heart medications, NOTHING not even a list of dr i can try instead.

Dr. Imhona is a great person and listener. He listens and responds to my health needs with patience and kindness. Hope he’s always there for me!

I have only had two physicians in my lifetime that truly impressed me and Dr. Eko is one of them. His medical knowledge is amazing and he and his staff are pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Imhona listens very attentively to the the issues you are explaining so he is able to evaluate the symptoms you are are reporting to him. He treats me like I am part of his family. Dr. Imhona has a wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. Isenalumhe is the best. He is kind, caring and truly knows his patients. I never feel rushed or unheard.

I am new to this practice. I felt comfortable at the onset. I felt even greater comfort after speaking with Dr. Imhona. He is a wonderful listener and gave me the time I needed. He quickly followed up with me about a medical matter. I look forward to partnering with his in caring for my health.
