Dr. Imelda Tio, MD

I have known and seen both Imelda and Lauren for many years. They used to have the most amazing staff who became more like friends than service providers and were always very caring and responsive. The new era of this practice has taken a complete 180. They are short, dismissive, lack any sense of compassion at all and make decisions for the doctors in regards to who is and is not important enough to warrant a message, per your phone call. Once you are with the doctors all is fine, but getting past these front office robots will leave you wondering if you would be happier elsewhere. Not sure if the doctors care because it seems this theme is recurring and no changes are made. Women's health should be approachable and accessible and this feels like backwards progress.

I have been a patient of Dr Tio for over 10 years. I have always found her very knowledgeable, compassionate and gentle.

The reviews for this office are spot on! Dr Tio is great UNTIL something is wrong and you need help. Good luck to you then. Dealing with hateful Angela at the front desk and other office staff is too much to bare when you are struggling with a health crisis. So many other practices to go to. No need to subject yourself to rude uncaring staff.

The most horrible office staff my family has ever encountered. Shame on the doctors for hiring such ugly hearted people. Angela specifically is the worst humans we have ever met. Stay away from this office.

Dr. Tio has been my gynecologist for over 20 years. She's knowledgeable, caring and very accommodating to her patients' needs.

I've been seeing Dr. Tio for 2 years and she has been amazing! Very sweet and has never made me feel uncomfortable during my visits. My IUD insertion was painless and she answers all my questions and is personable. Not sure why people have criticized her staff because I have never had a bad experience with them and they have been friendly. Office is gorgeous and clean :)

The front office staff here is incredibly rude. I went here for years and just dealt with it because I liked the dr. The front office won’t even let a patient leave a message for the dr to call if they don’t think it’s necessary. Sorry, secretaries don’t get to make medical decisions. Save yourself frustration and go somewhere else

Dr. Tio is attentive & kind- office is accommodating, clean & pleasant-

Dr. Tio is an excellent Doctor and is easy to talk with and understand. Unfortunately her staff does not raise to the same level. I'm a very low maintenance patient but between not being able to reach someone, showing up for an appointment, being put in a room and then forgotten and having to step out of the room after 45 minutes to see why the doctor has skipped me, and making an appointment with the only doctor we know and then having the other doctor walk in and insist we made the appointment to see her......A Doctor is only as good as their support staff.

Besides her tremendous knowledge, Dr. Tio is an extremely compassionate person. I am an older patient and find that I need more patience and understanding than I did when I was younger. Dr. Tio takes that extra step.

I saw Dr. Tio for 9 yrs. She was amazing w/ my pregnancy of my youngest & for the few healthy years following that. She was anything BUT amazing once I got sick. I have endometriosis & a great deal of pain. I spent over 2 years trying to get help & be seen by a specialist & all the while she & her staff only made me feel worse when I would call for help. My husband had to get involved @ one point because her staff was verging on being evil - they're condescending & rude & she is dismissive.

I love Dr. Tio...she made me feel comfy the moment she came into the room. Felt more like a contemporary...very easy to talk with. She gave great advice and is very gentle. I would highly recommend her.
