horrible experience so far
I was recently scheduled with Dr. Benchaala after my Rheumatologist of 16 years retired. What a difference! Dr. Benchaala doesn't seem to listen, is always rushing and, I feel as if he puts all his patients in one box. I will soon find another, who will respect my time and have a better bedside manner, his is awful.

Dr. Benchaala is a great doctor, he is my doctor. He took care of my concerns after I went from hospital emergency room looking for help Benchaala office got me in to see him right away and he saved my hand. He took one look at my hand and sent me straight to be admitted.

I wish I could give negative stars .. my husband was referred to the doctor by another specialist to get my husband infusions to treat a eye inflammation.. their office coordinator worked with blue cross to get it approved .. took several calls and emails to them to get them to finally do it .. never returning my calls .. once we got the approval they put in for the incorrect blood work . And then had to scramble to fix that before my husbands infusion . Once he had the infusion .. we were notified blue cross then denied it and we were stuck with a 17 grand bill and the office would not call us back or the infusion clinic to fix it . Now I’ve been told that the doctor will not help in any way to fix the mess they put us in . . And my husband will not get the treatment he needs. This office will not call you back no matter how many times you try . Worst doctor ever, save yourself and do not go to him , he cares nothing about the patient .

Dr. Benchalla is an excellent physician. I have been a patient for almost 7 years and feel he really listens to my concerns and evaluates the symptoms carefully to create the perfect treatment plan. I would recommend Dr. Benchaala to anyone. It is hard to find a physician that truly cares about you.

This doctor is by far the worst doctor I have ever been to. When asking questions about side effects of medications he does not seem to know any of them, " There are just many side effects" followed by an arrogant sound. He doesn't run required blood work, without me reminding him to do so. He placed me on prednisone, then during discussions asked who told me to take that. when asked questions his go to answer is "I don't know what to tell you". he is incompetent, unprofessional, and careless.

Does not look at the patient, me. After a year of going to him, didn't remember about pertinent conditions. Does not return phone calls about refill requests. Rude

Does not make eye contact when talking to you or seem to acknowledge that he is even listening to what you are saying. Does not seem to be remember you or your meds/problems. Not very friendly. Does not explain things well with pt. or staff. Does not check to see if you had labs recently done and orders duplicates. Requested new script for a med he gave me in advance prior to vacation for my arthritis. The Dr never responded. I did not get my much needed arthritic med prior to vacation
