Dr. Ildefonso Gomez, MD

Dr. Gomez has been my primary dr since 2005. Never I had a doctor in my life as thoughtful knowledgeable with a heart of gold. I recommended my sister to Dr. Gomez, she couldn’t be any happier. We both anxiously waiting for his return to his office

HI. I would like to tell you about my experience with Dr. I Gomez, he is very caring and knowledgeable, never in too much of a hurry to explain a diagnosis, care and treatment . My (Mom) Mrs Vena Campbell has been a patient of his for the past 30 or so years. They had a tremendous, close and professional relationship; there is nothing that he left undone in treatment of her, she was so fond of him she called him (son). She would get to another level of care where she could not eat normal, we had more assistance of what and how to maintain nutritional level. When she was unable to swallow anymore he would give recommendation as to what to expect and do. I am very grateful for his care and support of my Mom even when she was declining and until the last moment when she was promoted to the arms of her Savior. Conviva Care is Blessed to have such a CARING, PROFESSIONAL, though he is EDUCATED (knows his stuff without a question) HE STILL MAINTAIN GOOD PROFESSIONAL BEDSIDE MANNERS!!! ????

A call was received from the front desk. After waiting 4 months for an appointment, being a diabetic and someone who suffers from TIA. Midweek before the appointment the office calls and says we are unable to have our appointment because the Dr. is unavailable. I was told before I went back to work at 1:00 pm that an office manager would phone me, we took the time off to see the doctor. After getting close to the time, I decided to give a callback and was told that we were still scheduled, and they didn't see an issue, but then it turns out the dr. no longer accepts new patients. He did when I made the appointment It was for the beginning of the week, and we leave town in one day. Extremely unprofessional, and no assistance with the front desk. We now have to see a nurse practitioner because we waited so long. Frustrated!!! Bad Business. Can someone please advise us where to find a good doctor in fort Lauderdale and the office to match.

I lived in Florida for 20 years and Dr. Gomez was the only doctor that really helped me recover my health and my high esteem. No, I won't ever leave him.
