Dr. O is awesome and isn’t afraid to use all avenues to help relieve pain. Spinal stimulator, physical therapy, pills, etc. Every human being is different and this Dr. listens to what plan you think is best for you. Would recommend him to family and friends for life.

I've been seeing Dr O for years and he is absolutely an amazing doctor and has such a kind hearted doctor that you will ever meet. He is very knowledgeable and explains in great detail in medical terms and then simplify's it so you understand what exactly he's referring too. Dr. O knows my entire family and is just as kind to them as he is to his patients. I would highly recommend Dr Ikenna to anyone experiencing any great deal of suffering because life can be lived with less tolerable pain.

On the initial visit I found Dr. Okpareke to be very communicative and interested in my well-being. Unfortunately, interactions with Dr. Okpareke at subsequent visits was very limited and he appeared only interested in providing steroid shots. Neither he nor his staff seemed to care about the pain I was in and it took many attempts to obtain satisfactory pain management. I was ultimately disappointed but didn't know what else to do or to whom to go.

Why is it so hard to find a good doctor? – Jun 17, 2020

Dr Ike is the best! His bedside manner is wonderful and he is always extremely pleasant. He explains everything to you in layman terms and is very gentle when doing procedures. He always offers you an option of where you want your procedure done, office vs surgical center. I would highly recommend him for your pain management MD. Only negative is that you have to wait sometimes over a month to get in.

I have been a patient here for almost 20 years. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Okpareke! I have seen many doctors as staff changes, and would be extremely happy to recommend him to anyone I know. Compassionate and caring and takes time to answer any questions you have. My surgery went very well and he has been very willing to adjust my pump to better control my pain.

I agree and disagree with some of the comments. I've been going to the pain clinic for around 5ish yrs. Dr. Okpareke is a very caring, smart and generally nice doctor, however I don't see him very often and mostly see the NP. She is very thorough and caring, but when it comes to med changes, increases, assessments to see if something further is causing pain. I generally feel you should be seen by the dr. At least every 4 months to keep an established patient doctor relationship.

I don't know what the review below is talking about. I've been a relatively new patient and let me tell you....EVERY SINGLE PERSON at this clinic has been incredible! They were the ONLY people to correctly diagnose my Occipital Neuralgia and take steps to correct and giving me my friggin' life back (still in process)!! If I needed to speak to a nurse during the day, they promise see to call me back...and did every time within 30min. I ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE ENTIRE STAFF!

If just want to see a power hunger nurse this your man. I have gone to him for almost two years every two months and I have only seen him twice. The rest of the time I saw horrible nurse practitioners that just kept changing my medications for the worst. They enjoy making you feel like a drug addict. I had a spinal stimulator trial, the nurse misinformed or lied or just didn't know what she was talking about when she told me what to expect as far as pain, length of trial and down time.
