Dr. Idriss El Koussaimi, MD

We have been seeing Dr. El Koussaimi for years. He is fantastic and unique - he has discovered issues that other doctors didn't notice and then advocated for my spouse to see high level specialists in the Boston area. We would never change doctors - he is outstanding.

Dr. El Koussaimi is a good doctor and a nice guy. However some of the personnel in his office may need some new training. or perhaps a lesson on what their roles are. They seem to be somewhat confused about how my insurance works.

I feel lucky to have found Dr. Koussaimi. I had tried on a few occasions due to health insurance changes to find a new doctor with no luck, forcing me into more expensive plans from the companies I was joining. My previous doctor finally retired at the end of 2019 I had a sense of dread after failed searches in the past. When I first called to make a new patient appointment, the person I spoke with was beyond helpful, listened to my concerns, and told me she thought Dr. Koussaimi would be a good fit. Just over a year later, I can say I am extremely happy here - the office is clean, easy to get to and I have never had a problem with availability when I needed an appointment either with Dr. Koussaimi or the PA. Beyond the in-person visits, the patient portal used makes it easy to request appointments and view results from tests AND the staff are quite responsive when you ask questions through the port

Dr. El Koussaimi is an excellent Doctor, he's so close to his patients, also he's quick to reply to his patients messages.

He's just a young doctor who has a lot to learn about relationships with his patients. He seems to be unaware of my history with the office which goes back to about 1974 with heart and respiratory problems. To the point of his refusal to see me when I came down with pneumonia last winter. Also, referral requests to his office have been unfulfilled costing me to full brunt of the costs of a visit to a pulmonary specialist.
