Very knowledgeable extremely professional as well as nice. After seeing him no worries he put them to rest. I know I will get better and get back to doing the things I love doing. He answered all of of my questions. Very impressed.

I was really nervous when I broke my leg, especially when I heard 'surgery needed'. I shouldn't have worried. Everyone was wonderful. From the nurses to the x-ray tech, surgery center and Dr. MacLean. I was in great hands.

Wonderful new patient experience with Dr. MacLean!
Like his colleagues and the staff at OrthoVirginia, Dr. MacLean is patient, kind, a great listener first, and wonderful provider as a result. I have now seen all the doctors in this practice and l look forward to being their patient for all my orthopedic care. They are individually and collectively a practice that gets it all right from start to finish!

Dr. MacLean was phenomenal! His overall care and bedside manner was so personal. He truly cares about his patients. My husband suffered a major hamstring detachment and Dr. MacLean educated us all along the way. His surgical skills for the repair were amazing. He was incredible with setting realistic expectations, pain management, and recovery. We would give him 10 stars if we could! The staff at OrthoVirginia are top notch!

Very good visit
Dr Maclean seemed very thorough and patient. He explained everything that was going on with my knee. Since I had fallen three days before and been to the emergency room. He took some weight bearing x-rays to get a better view of what was going on with my knee. He suggested I have a steroid shot to help with the pain and inflammation. It is a little better, but I have to give it a few days for it to kick in. I will definitely go back if I have any more problems .
