Dr. Ian Fries, MD

I am a paralegal who contacted his office to obtain only a fax number so I could request a copy of a report of which he provides for Worker's Compensation workers. Unfortunately, whoever answered the phone was very rude, speaking over me, and being really snappy. I was never provided a fax number, the caller stated he could not give it to me and whatever report I needed to get it from OWCP. Now this is terrible customer service and I cannot believe a physician's office who is caring for their patients could act like this. I work for a Workers Compensation Firm and we work with a lot of physicians to provide exams for our clients. I will make a mental note not to ever use or refer anyone to this physician.

If you are seeking dr Fries’s services as a HIMS AME you should look elsewhere. The only thing dr fries cares about is taking as much money out of your pocket as he can. This is quite obvious as he charges an astonishing $500/hr. Other HIMS Ames charge between 100-200/hr. If you are forced to see him you better hope your airline is footing the bill or you’re going to end up paying him 10-20k for his services alone. Well known in the pilot community of ripping off pilots and profiting off them when they are most vulnerable. Look elsewhere!!!

Terrible fake OWCP doctor who doesn't care about people just who he's getting paid from. If you have to see him you have no shot at a positive outcome. Be sure to bring someone with you into the medical exam . I would never recommend him
