FAA Physical
Saw Dr Cummings for my physical to get my medical certificate. He was on time, patient with me, explained everything, worked with me a lot through the experience. Not just the physical part, helped me through the process of getting paperwork the FAA required for the medical aspect. I will go back to see him as long as I am flying.

Dr. Cummings, most likely, saved my life. I went into the ER with shortness of breath, which I thought was an Asthma attack. When all common causes were ruled out, Dr. Cummings squeezed my lower legs and knew that it was painful. He told me that he suspected that I might have a blood clot in my lung, and immediately ordered a chest CTA with dye. It showed that I had multiple blood clots in both lungs. I was immediately placed on an IV blood thinner, and then prescribed long term Xarelto, which is expected to control the growth and movement of the clots. I am now home, feeling fine, and free of shortness of breath.

Dr. Cummings, isn’t sure of his diagnosis, and he will resend them when question by other physicians. My poor wife was subject to his incapabilities.

My husband has been thrown around for months with pain in his shoulder and told nothing was wrong. They found a “cyst” in his chest and thought nothing of it nor reacted in a timely manner. My husband ended up in the ER where he was treated by Dr. Cummings and he immediately knew this wasn’t just a cyst. He took the time to have all tests done and had my husband transferred to Shands Cancer Center in Gainseville where he was properly diagnosed with exactly what Dr. Cumming thought it was!
