Dr. Ian Brimhall, DO

For a few years I was getting knee and hip shots. After breaking behind my kneecap 58 years ago, the pain got to the point of knee replacement.Then the hip pain got to the point of bursitis surgery. I never knew of such a surgery. Now, I'll be seeing him for possible meniscus surgery. I trust him, but that is why I said ....unfortunately. Sooo many repairs. Then Dr Reagan next year for shoulder.

He was smug and down right rude! Zero personality, just awful bedside manner. I had a pelvic fracture which did not require surgery . The sense I got was that because I did not need surgery I was wasting his time. I was given no instructions on limitations or how long it would take to heal. I followed up with a different Orthopedic provider outside of his practice and was very happy with their care.

I had a total knee replacement 9/8/2021… Dr. Brimhall and all whom is affiliated with made this surgery a SUCCESS.. He is professional, compassionate and knowledgeable in the newest procedures…a Great surgeon…

Brief answer to the question is NO! Dr. B is really nice and caring. Now his staff (especially the front office) is another thing. They do not reply to messages left, have difficulty understanding BASIC questions related to scheduling and procedures. The waits are always close to 45 minutes....just to get into the inner exams room. Then you wait maybe another 20+ minutes for a medical staff person to come it. I would normally recommend this doctor. But due to his staff, I'm suggesting that you may want to look elsewhere. Sorry Dr. B.

Had shoulder surgery everything went great shoulder like new. Went to him for a hand problem he has to do surgery. When I tried to schedule have left 9 messages and personally went to office 3 times they dont call back.

Dr Brimhall is great. Always less invasive and good results. 5 surgeries in the last 4 year's...

Excellent surgeon who really cares about the quality of his work. He replaced both my knees.

Took a while to get my first appointment but he got me in for major shoulder surgery 8 days after my second appointment. Happy with results. It is often difficult to get in to see doctors up here on the mountain but he is one of the best. I have had many recommendations (including my PCP) from satisfied friends who have had a diverse array of surgeries by doctor Brimhall: shoulder, knee, hip, hand etc.

I waited almost two hours in his office after my scheduled time, then walked out. His staff said that's normal. It seems to me that this doctor cares way more about overbooking and making money than his patients. TERRIBLE

Dr Brimhall is an amazing surgeon I love his patience to listen without interrupting you or making you feel he’s in a hurry or your only allowed 15 minuets of his time. I’ve had two complete knee replacements and rotator cuff done and feel very blessed that it was performed by him

Only cares about how much your surgery is going to cost, how much money he's going to make not about the patient. Zero stars if I could.

Brimhall is an excellent surgeon and is passionate. He takes the time to make sure I understand my diagnosis. I had a wonderful result.

Dr. Brimhall is a phenomenal and well educated, kind, and devoted man! He fixed my broken tibia and did an amazing job. He answered all my questions and made surgery much less anxiety provoking for me. All of my follow ups with him have been pleasant. I don't know what I would have done without him.
