Lied on my medical report; prescribed multiple med
Dr. Kim told me that I was bi-polar and schizophrenic without speaking to me or examining me, then prescribed 6 meds, 2X daily. My brother had just passed away, my family was worried because I wasn't sleeping well, and I stayed up late cleaning house. When they called to check on me and found out how many meds I was on, they were concerned as I was not on meds before, nor since. I stayed a total of 10 days there. My husband thought I would be there only for 48 hours to receive sleep medication and get on a schedule for sleep. I was threatened that the meds would be forced upon me if I didn't willingly take them. Upon dismissal, I paid for and retrieved my medical records to find out the reason why the drugs were prescribed. An example of a lie on my records is that Dr. Kim wrote I was 'hearing voices while I was walking down the hall that I wanted out of my head.' I never said anything of the sort. I believe this was an excuse to prescribe the medications and extend my stay.
