Ive been going to Dr. Tran since 2005 and he's taken great care of my eyes... The problem is when you walk into his office don't be surprised if the waiting room is full or even over full... It's not unusual for you get your eyes drops to dilate and the pressure checked and then return to the waiting room for an hour or so before they call you in to see the doctor.... Long story short, he overbooks worse than any airline I know of...

Waste of my time
I had an appointment today for 3:40 pm. They called yesterday to change my appointment to 4:40 PM. I showed up at 4:30 as requested. At 5 PM I asked how much longer it would be. I was told there were 8 people ahead of me and it would an hour or more. I left. This office is arrogant and cares nothing for the value of your time. It is insulting and condescending to waste other people's lives so the Dr. Can see more patients. I've cancelled all my future appointments and do not recommend this provider at al.

Dr. Tran is an excellent physician and an extremely astute diagnostic ophthalmologist. He detected a macular hole in a family member only one day after it was overlooked by a retina specialist. He also alerted another family member to a possible neurological condition after a routine eye exam. He is very thorough and explains everything quite carefully in detail. He will be performing my cataract surgery in the near future and I am very happy that we were referred to him 4 years ago! A top notch doctor for sure!

As an R.N., I seek the best physicians who are Board Certified and I found Dr. Huy Tran who excelled in recognition by specific requirements set by national medical specialty board and has the most current skills and knowledge about ophthalmology and surgery eye procedures. Dr. Tran has followed me in my yearly checkups for nearsightedness. In 2019, cataracts appeared and Dr. Tran did left and right eye surgeries and I amazingly had 20/25 vision with the new cataract lenses for the first time without glasses! Dr. Tran's Arlington office is 31 miles away from me and I highly recommend that the drive is worth it to receive the most professional eye care that includes compassionate care as well.

Dr. Tran did my eye exam and then the following lasik procedure for both my eyes back in 2001. He did a great job from the beginning to the follow-ups. Now eighteen years later, my vision is still very good. I can still easily read and drive without corrective lens. I highly recommend Dr. Tran for his expertise and for his caring practice.

I have been a patient of Dr Tran's for several years, he performed cataract surgery for me last year and it could not have been better. Two surgeries, very fast, no pain or pain medication. I would and have recommended him.

I came to his office and payed $150 to see what happen to my eyes, and he didn't know the problem, he told me to take the eye xray. I had to pay another $600 for the eye xray. Then I called him to ask about the result, but he said that my eyes have nothing and not problem (Even that my left eye is big and my right eye is small, I didn't have this problem before). He kept saying that my eyes have nothing serious, but all I need to know why my eyes like that right now. I was really disappointed. T

just had an exam and had the best bifocal ever made. i love my eyeglasses. besides the great medical eye exam, he was really honest . i was interested in lasik and though he was a surgeon, he told me my nearsighted eyes are great for reading and being over 40 i would do better without lasik. and he was right, i prefer reading without my glasses. thank you dr tran.

Over books patients creating long waiting times regardless of scheduled appointment. Sign in sheet for patients is laminated. After a patient signs in the sign in and time signed in are erased so no one knows how many are waiting.
