Dr. Hugo Fazz, MD

Dr. Fazz is always kind. And can be humorous. Takes his time with you. Explains things so you understand.Been my only trusted Dr since 2002.I left AZ to travel in 2015. I came back off and on just to see him.In 2022 l had been gone for several years. I was back in AZ for my husbands treatment at M D Anderson.I got very ill fast and they knew who l was when l called just by my name. I only wanted Dr. Fazz because l was so overwhelmed. I got in the next morning.They fit me in.The staff was very helpful during that time. They have been under staffed and new people coming in. Hard to find good people now days. However, l still find they are doing a good job.

Dr. Fazz has been my family doctor for over 16 years and I love him to pieces. He is kind, knowledgeable and always ensures that I have all my questions answered. Unfortunately, the practice office manager Mary and a select few of the staff make it impossible for me to want to continue as a patient. They are rude, indifferent, lack any follow through and need a course in customer service. Similar reviews do share my same concerns but it seems that no one is holding them accountable for their bad behavior and poor resolution management. Unless there is a positive change I will need to start the process of looking for a new primary care physician although Dr. Fazz is incredible. It is really concerning that Mary and her team continue to be rude, unapproachable, and condescending. It seems that they could care less if long term patients leave to find a new doctor. Bottom line...horrible, rude and incompetent staff but excellent doctors.

Dr. Fazz, his associates and staff have always performed professionally and addressed my issues accordingly during my last 17 years with Deseret Family Medicine.

My family including my husband, 5 adult children, their respective spouses, mother and father have been under Dr. Fazz's care for over 15 years because he is an excellent doctor. However, over the last 6-8 months, their office manager Mary and a few staff have made it unbearable to continue as patients. They take no accountability nor are they accountable to anyone who has the authority to make a positive difference. Their recent actions have actually place my mother in a direct life or death situation with no empathy or solution driven mentality. They echo inconsistent and lack of complete information to doctors and refuse to assist me with competent and thorough information. I have read several reviews and see that there have been a number of bad reviews concerning their office manager Mary and review scores of 2.8 speaks volume. Mary has refused to take my calls or or reached out to solicit any type of resolutions for our concerns. It is so disheartening to leave such a great doctor

Dr Fazz's office policies are a joke. Apparently, he only treats healthy people. I was to be a new patient. I was sick. The refused to schedule a tele-health appointment because I had never been physically into the office, yet they won't allow sick people to show up at the office. This clinic is classic Catch 22.

I find Dr. Fazz to be very down to earth when discussing any health issue. This is very important as one ages.

Dr. Fazz is great in all aspects as a Dr. but the issue is with his staff and ease of speaking with someone. My husband recently had several tests and it’s been 3 weeks and we can not get any results. I call the office and only get voicemail which states there are # of callers ahead of me. I leave all information requested and it says they will wait in line for me and they will call me back when it’s my turn. When they do call back it’s the computer again and tells you what # in line you are now. This has been going on for 2 weeks now. I called and left a heated message stating what was happening and requested to speak with someone right away. While we were in another Dr.s appointment someone did call me back and left a voicemail stating she did not understand how she could help me. She left the phone number with a direct extension for me to call. WELL, I have now been on hold for 27and a half minutes with only one caller ahead of me. What the hell!

It was great. He takes the time to really sit and talk to you. A swers all questions and concerns.
