Dr. Hugh Vanlandingham, MD

While I would recommend this provider for his patient care and knowledge, I cannot recommend his office based on procedures and staff. My entire family has been with this provider for over 20 years. I had a lapse in visits as the necessary health tests were being done by specialists with copies going to this provider. About 3 years ago, the nurse even contacted me to repeat a diagnostic test. Two years ago, the provider's office was contacted for an appointment at which time I was told I would have to reestablish care. No problem there. I then tried to schedule an appointment and was told I was required to PHYSICALLY come to the office to complete paperwork and schedule an appointment. Huh? On two separate occasions I called to verify process and was told I CANNOT get an appointment without coming in to complete paperwork. So this provider's office wants folks to take time away from work, travel to the office to complete paperwork and to schedule an appointment? Total disregard for people's time and no consideration of the constraints placed on folks to take time from work to come drop paperwork off to then get an appointment. This provider can certainly make their rules, my rule is to find another provider. Cannot express how disappointed I am.

This office is amazing. U can call in the morning and most times u will see someone that day. I have been going to him for 17 years . They even have a receptionist who will answer your call. If your appointment is 9:00 , u will see someone at 9:00. I can say enough wonderful things about the staff

I have been with Dr Vanlandingham & Niki PA NP for over 15 years always work you in when needed. Friendly and Professional staff Can’t go wrong with Tallahassee Primary Care they make it easy to get tests at their lab & diagnostic Center Great service there too

I have had the good fortune to be a patient of and to have known Dr. Vanlandingham for 16+ years. In my opinion as well as in the opinions of other physicians whom I see, there is no better family practice Doctor than Hugh in Tallahassee, as well as Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson or Gadsden Counties! He is the consummate professional, possessing all of the possible attributes one would hope to have as a Doctor for themselves and their entire families. His caring and bedside manner are incomparable.

His office never makes you wait. You are called back within 5 minutes of checking in. You never sit long waiting in the exam room. Dr. Hugh has an awesome bedside manner and he will take time to answer all your questions and concerns. He is dead on with diagnosis and will send you to a specialist if he feels it is necessary. In my book, he and his office should receive 10 stars!
