Had a procedure and ended up with some serious damage. Nice to talk with, sounds confident and understanding. Be careful and research in addition to listening what they say.

Dr. McDaniel did multiple venous stasis on both of my legs, his communication was very brief and unclear. He could not tell me why my left leg was still swollen after four months after the last procedure. My right leg continues to be with some numbness after eight months. I am disappointed with my whole procedure experience.

Knowledgeable and Thoughtful
Dr. McDaniel not only is a highly skilled and brilliant surgeon, he is able to explain what the procedures are and how to proceed with aftercare. I appreciate his skill very much.

A relatively straight forward bypass surgery turned into a 7 month ordeal with 3 more surgeries, wound care and rehabilitation. After that, he refused to see me. Only saw his nurse. Had to get another doctor to repair the original procedure.

His PA did a Vena-seal supposedly on my upper thigh. It formed a hemotoma and needed surgery. He was nowhere to be found. Referred me to a nother vascular, who took care of the sugery and I liked him better. I think Dr McD let his PA's do more than they were qualified for. After looking at pictures Iam not sure I ever saw the dr. I needed an angiogram on my celiac artery. I think a PA did that. I did not see McDaniel before or after. The vena seal Came after the aniogram. The ultra sound had to be done while I was asleep.

Dr. McDaniel has been offering charity care for uninsured patients through the Escambia We Care Program for several years and has been named Doctor of the Year for the past 3 years for his dedicated care and service for patients in need of specialty care. I cannot thank him and everyone at Coastal Vascular enough for their care and consideration for those in need. Thanks again and be blessed.

There is no way to contact McDaniel's office except thru voice messages. I have tried calling 3 times to schedule a vein procedure and no one has returned my calls. They only have a receptionist.

I have been trying to get Dr McDaniel to see the open wound from my Dec Surgery incision since Monday. I was admitted to hospital Tues. It is now Wed and still no Vascular Dr is coming. Nurse said hopefully tomorrow. This is very unprofessional. I would not recommend this Dr to anyone. Find someone who will help you because Dr McDaniel does not care. I am diabetic and have trouble healing and have a history of this happening after surgery. Even the hospital Nursing staff are frustrated with this

Great visit and thorough explanation of my health issues. Office staff (scheduling/insurance,etc) needs serious overhaul. Not sure why it takes 2 weeks to get an appointment when one asks about insurance coverage and reasons for for doctor's visits. Revenue driven environment.

Dr McDaniel completed a diagnosis in early September , due fumbling within his office the insurance carrier the procedure didn't get authorized until November. Dr McDaniel could not schedule the procedure - AT ALL. Not just a long wait, It could not be scheduled because his calendar didn't go far enough. They called several times to tell me I wasn't forgotten, but still not available Appt. I finally changed doctors, they called in January to try to schedule for Feb. 7 months for procedure!
