I was kept waiting for 35 minutes in the examine room with a sheet of paper towel over me with no apology when he finally came in. The other reviews are exactly what I experienced - 5 minutes total time with him after being in the office for 45 minutes.

Exceptional, yet quick service.
Informative; good overall cancer examination (have not really had one like it in the past); great tips for sun exposure and acne containment.

Efficient office and staff. – Jul 12, 2022

He has the knowledge and experience but it ends there. He acts like his office is a cash register and his patients are dollar bills. He comes in like a whirl wind and out just as fast without saying a parting word to his patient. When he does a serious procedure he does not prepare the patient for what to expect then or afterwards. Your pain is not his concern.

Besides overbooking and making people wait atleast an hour on some of my appointments I always thought he was fast and not very approachable with all the 'assistants and students' around him constantly in the exam room. I went for advice in a growth on my nose. He didn't even look at it closely and said it was a pimple no worries. He told me what to use. 6 weeks later no change. I went for a second opinion and the Dr thought right away skin cancer. She did a biopsy and that is what it was. I have since had Mohs surgery. Would NOT recommend Robinson. Don't waste your time.

In the past, I have met with one of Dr. Robinson's physician assistants. Yesterday, I had an appt with him directly. His manner is abrupt. He talks in medical jargon to his staff, never once to me. I was there as a follow-up concern I had about a treatment I had received from PA. Now, granted it was not a life-threatening problem, but to me it was important. He brushed it off to another PA, after "forgetting" to look at one of the problem areas. Very unhappy with this man. It is doubtful I shall return to their office.

Waited for nearly an hour, for an appointment scheduled 3 months in advance. Found out in waiting room, at least one other patient was scheduled for exact same timeslot. Clearly, this doctor way over-schedules. I will not work with a doctor that does not respect my time, like that.

Waited one hour and fifteen minutes for my appointment, just to be told it was going to be another 30 minutes. My time is more valuable than wasting it in a physician's overcrowded waiting room.

Brilliant man who thinks outside the box. Always up on the latest clinical studies and new medications that are ready to be released. I live in Northern Virgina and drive 2 hours to come see this doctor. He has been treating my eczema (atopic dermatitis) for over 28 yrs. He always gave me hope that there would be something around the corner that would "cure me" one day. Last year he put me on Dupixent and it has cured my eczema and changed my life! I am truly a new person because of him!

This man is a miracle worker. The stereotype is that dermatologists just pop pimples. Not Dr. Robinson. I had a serious undetected illness not related to what one normally associates with dermatology. Dr. Robinson took one look at my skin, and was able to diagnose cancer in one of my internal organs. I am alive today because of Dr. Robinson.

Dr. Robinson saved my life. He found deadly cancerous cells which other doctors had not even looked for. No other doctor suggested a full body examination, and when I took off my shirt, he immediately spotted the irregular cells previous doctors had missed. Tests proved the cells were cancer. I have repeatedly returned to Dr. Robinson. He is not a chatty Marcus Welby kind of doctor, but more important, he is the doctor that will save your life.

This doctor saved my life. He is incredibly brilliant, direct and to the point, and can identify the medical issue quickly. I have a scientific/medical background, and am always amazed by Dr. Robinson. He is a true doctor and scientist. I know some of his other patients, and they love him. Dr. Robinson is not the warm bedside manner doctor, but he is the doctor that will save your life. My last dermatologist had a great bedside manner, but almost killed me. Thank G-d Dr. Robinson treats me

This is the most incredible doctor I have ever met. I come into his office, he diagnoses me immediately, I get treated, and I am cured. No dancing around the issue, no claim of not knowing what I have, or any other nonsense. He is incredible. He saved me from a melanoma other doctors missed!!!!! I also have had a few medical emergencies, and I was treated promptly. His office is busy, because upon my research I found he is rated the best dermatologist in the state.
