I saw Dr. Gerber for my skin check-up. He was thorough in his examination of my skin for possible lesions, explained all his findings clearly.

Beware of SURPRISE MEDICAL BILLS!!! They’ll take your money at the end of your appointment and then months after your appointment, you’ll check your mailbox and find you owe even more money. This practice engages in **predatory medical balance billing** and you’ll be on the hook for any penny your insurance company doesn’t pay. I even called to make sure this wasn’t a mistake. (Also, before my visit I consulted with the billing department specifically to ensure this was in-network for me and what the cost would be. I do my homework and I was still caught surprised in the end.) Also, I found their recommended pharmacy is more expensive than just getting your prescriptions filled at Walgreens. Plus, it takes a long time to receive your medications. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re getting a kickback from this pharmacy and that’s why the medicine prices are so high. In summary, all this place cares about is extracting the most money from you as possible. Beware!
