Dr. Howard Freilich, MD

He is an awesome doctor and gives you as much time as you need. I highly recommend him as a caring, experienced Doctor.

Kind, thorough and knows how to put you at ease with awkward topics/procedures. His staff are pretty amazing too. So glad to have him here in the Lowcountry.

He was very personable and answered all my questions I had prior to procedure. He came back in to see me after I was fully awake and went over findings.

Dr. Freilich spent a lot of time explaining the procedure and addressing my concerns . After the procedure he explained the results in great detail and took even more time to answer all my questions.

Excellent physician. I first met with his office staff and was very impressed by their efficiency and friendliness and ease of scheduling an initial appointment at their office. When I went for the outpatient procedure and met Dr. Freilich, both my husband and I were impressed with his bedside manner, his explanation both before and after the procedure. He took him time with me and I never felt like I was being rushed. I definitely would recommend Dr. Freilich to any of my friends.

Very professional and through. Staff very friendly, although I wish I had met with him, rather than a nurse during initial visit. They also need to close the gap between initial visit and schedule date for procedure- 3 months is rather excessive. Lastly need to better coordinate billing as I was going into pre collections for a lousy $20 copay.

Very caring and attentive doctor. The best run doctors office I have ever visited. Prompt return calls and the most helpful staff. I would highly recommend this doctor and his staff to everyone!

I was pleasantly surprised at the friendly yet totally professional way I was treated and attended to during my last Upper Endoscopy. I did however get my lip pinched during the procedure which took about 5 days to heal. Over several years I have had about 14 of these procedures in StL where I was living before moving here in March of this year. During that time, I received 2 busted (pinched) lips, so it isn't uncommon, just unpleasant. I will not hesitate to go to this Dr again in the future.

Excellent physician whose been educated at schools with outstanding reputations. This was one important factor for me as a patient. He is an exceptional educator who is very thorough. He has an unusual mix of expertise and caring. I never mind waiting for him because he gives you all the time you need. As for colonoscopy scheduling , the office isn't responsible for that. The hospital manages the OR schedule. I cannot say enough good things about him. Office staff is superb as well.

Dr Freilich is so kind and patient. He answers my questions thoughtfully so that I can understand my condition. I wasn't sure about the medication i was on. I had read negatives about it. He addressed each one of the issues very clearly and reassur d my husband and I that this is the right one for me.

A professional office staff and Dr Freilich and Tammy the PA are caring and they seem to want to resolve any patients issues.

Waited two months for colonoscopy. Hospital did not know I was diabetic . NP did not do her job. I did not get the colonoscopy, will go some where else. Very poor. My previous medical history should warrant seeing a DR not a NP. TO have my procedure scheduled for 2pm is unacceptable .
