Listened very well and addressed my problems.

He’s one of the worst doctors I ever had in my life. He operated on me and September 2023 he did a spinal fusion on me from the time I came out of surgery. I was septic because he had cut a piece of my spinal fluid with leaking everywhere. He did nothing to fix it. I was septic he did nothing to fix that . 4 days after I came home from the hospital my back split completely open because of the infection that was left inside me and I remain split open from September until November having to have a nurse and my neighbor cleaning it every day putting fresh dressing on he even knew one time that had split open and blood plus was coming out of it and when my nurse found it on two days later, she was freaked out I was freaked out, but he didn’t even bother to put it in my records, so nobody knew about it but him when I was taking to the hospital by ambulance and they told him he needed to send me up there he refused and told him there was nothing wrong with me for him to send me home. My Hospital Foria did not agree with his decision and they admitted me from Saturday till Thursday and then that time they put a pick line in me. They had kept me on a lot of antibiotics they had a wound doctor taking care of my wound. They had me on antibiotics and when he found out about all of this care, he again told them to take all of that off of me and send me home. There was nothing wrong with me .every time I went to a different hospital and they required him to admit me with him. He told them there was nothing wrong with me every time I begged him to take care of me and I tried to tell him that there was something wrong with me. He was very very, very mean to me and told me there was nothing wrong with me in March 1924 I went to a different doctor. His name was Dr. St Claire Lima Ohio did test on me in one day and told me that all of the equipment that Dr.elgafy Had installed in me all of the screws had come undone as I had suspected all along because I had gotten so worse that I was almost crawling through my house and I continue to tell Dr. elgafyand he continue to do nothing about it. he made me cry in his office because he was too busy yelling at me and then he told me not to cry because there was nothing crying was gonna fix and within the week of leaving his office and I had met Dr. St Claire. I ended up at the emergency room in Finley. Dr. St Claire ordered MRIs CAT scans Dopplers on my legs. Blood work to check for infections all in one day. He didn’t look at me and tell me there was nothing wrong with me. He suspected as I did that there was plenty wrong with me and there was all of the hardware had come unscrewed. It was just floating around in my body so March 26 of 2024 Dr. St Claire did surgery on me and within three months I was very much healed as of June 14, 2024. I am now not having to worry about wearing a back brace not having to worry about any problems with my back to the doctor that listened to his patient, which would be Dr. St Claire because Dr. elgafy beyond doesn’t need to have a license if this is how he’s going to treat his patience seeing what I can do about that. I do have recordings so please do not let him operate on you or even for that matter consult with you.

This surgeon placed a titanium cage around two lower lumbar discs, relieving my significant other of 17 years of chronic lower back daily pain. The surgery went perfect, he healed very quickly and Dr. Elgafy was very good at following up and advising. He always answers all questions. He is outstanding at this procedure and after care.The only complaint, not his fault, was the hospital bed was extremely uncomfortable, not designed well for back surgery patients.

Dr.Elgafy is amazing! It will be 9 years since he did my back surgery..best decision ever made by me and him! Has since performed back surgery on my elderly father...same scenario with fantastic results!

Had one appt with this doctor. OMG what a crackpot. Asked if I smoked. Yes i do, but never during my fusion surgeries. Dr said all my problems are due to smoking. All I asked about was some muscle injections for a pinched nerve. The last spine guy always said my fusions were filling in and looked great. This surgeon recommended a revision and I asked one question. When that surgery fails, what then? He responded with a grin: Well, I don't know The wife and I were floored!

Dr Elgafy is very detailed in assessing a diagnoses. He doesn't make quick inaccurate judgments. Before seeing Dr Elgafy I had seen 4 other spine specialists for 4 months and none of them were able to diagnose my problem correctly. After 2 visits with Dr Elgafy identified the cause and and needed procedure to correct the problem. I know a lot of people complain about wait times in his office, but this is due to him being detailed in his examinations and in my opinion well worth it.
