AWFUL!!! Do not chose this man to be your Dr. he has no bed size manner and he’s into insurance fraud. He’s more money hungry than concerned with his patients. Period! PLEASE BEWARE!!! Big regrets dealing with Horace Mellon!

He lacks the qualities to be a doctor. Compassionate, listening, supportive. Not something he practices.

I chose Dr. Mellon after researching the schools he graduated from. A couple of friends mines attended Meharry, so I figured why not give him a try. Dr. Mellon is a bit aloof, but that did not trouble me. It did bother me when I arrived at 10:00AM for my last appointment, which I paid for in the amount of $175.00 out of pocket, since I was between insurances. I was not called to see the doctor for a hour and 15 minutes. Office staff is a very unhappy group. Office lacks warmth.

Don’t breathe you may get charge for it. The wait time is of course longer than the meeting with the Doctor. He doesn’t take your time valuable, and doesn’t like you to health an opinion about your own health, he never addresses my concerns about my health, told me it was normal, if I’m at the Doctors sir maybe that’s not so normal. Who wants to spend time off from work to have an unsuccessful doctor appointment. And his staff, make sure you eat, or go to Stars bucks before dealing with them.
