Dr. Hong Nguyen, MD

Dr. Nguyen is a poor listener and communicator who hurries through visits with patients and discourages questions. On my most of my visits, I found her to be insulting and lacking in compassion. I would have preferred if another member of her staff had seen me if she lacked time to treat me with kindness and compassion. She doesn’t like kids if they come with you on the visit. Or cell phones like you are kid in her office. I’m on a lot of different meds including high blood pressure medicine. She took my name of her rooster and did not even notify me I only found out when it was time to get a renewal on my meds. Therefore not even giving me time enough to look for doctor that can prescribe my meds this is not professional at all. I should have left her practice when I had a chance, But I stayed because no one else was excepting new patients at the time so I stayed. A bad decision on my health, wise and Doctor wise.. I give her a 1 in rating. Needs to work on bedside manner.

Dr. Nguyen isn’t for everyone. She doesn’t sugarcoat or beat around the bush. If you want an expert who is direct and honest with you about your health, try to get in with her. If you want platitudes and a prescription-stamper, go elsewhere.

Dr. Hong Nguyen is the best! She is focused on you entirely during the office visit. She is thorough and direct. Dr. Nguyen explains things so you can learn to improve your health before the next visit. She takes the time to help you understand cause and effect; other doctors are in such a hurry, they just hand you a wad of prescriptions and are gone. I wish there were more doctors like Dr. Hong Nguyen.

Visit with Dr Nguyen went very well. She immediately correctly diagnosed my problem & referred me to the specialist to correct my problem. I have no problem with her skills as a Doctor.

I went to Dr. Hong Nguyen for 2 years but decided to leave after 3 situations in which I was dismissed or misdiagnosed.

Exceptional Physician and staff!!! Everyone is friendly and professional. I love doctor Hong Nguyen. She is thorough, smart, efficient and Professional. One of the Best doctors I have ever been treated by! Regina the RN is also exceptional, professional and Friendly.

Dr. Nguyen is a poor listener and communicator who hurries through visits with patients and discourages questions. On my most unscheduled visit, I found her to be insulting and lacking in compassion. I would have preferred if another member of her staff had seen me if she lacked time to treat me with kindness and compassion. The office has only one restroom in the waiting area so you need use the waiting room restroom to provide a urine specimen and then carry this through the waiting room.

I just don’t understand the negative comments. I’ve been a patient for many years and have been satisfied with Dr. Nguyen and her staff. On a rare occasion I’ve had to wait longer than I would have liked but that happens at any doctors office. Her bedside manner is great, she’s through and orders necessary tests when needed. I highly recommend.

I want 0 stars! 5 yrs ago today, I went to Dr. Hong Nguyen & explained my symptoms: heart beating faster, heart pounding, aware of my heart beating like never before, especially in my naval area. She said it was "in my head". The next day, I was in the hospital with a pulmonary embolism. I wouldn't trust this doctor with a broken toe! 0 dr visits in last 2 yrs due to above! I mention because below, I was asked how many visits I've had with her in 2 yrs. NEVER AGAIN! She almost killed me!

For the last 5 years both my husband and I have been going to Dr. Nguyen. we have found she is blunt, and tells you like it is which we find very refreshing in today's "politically correct" day and age. We both trust her with our health and well being and would recommend her highly.

After a 10 minutes visit and $400 later, I felt cheated. Looked at my back and nowhere else, took out a tiny wart and the visit was over in a flash. Seemed to be overworked and not really interested. Will not go back.

Dr. Nguyen was my physician for 18 years and I found her to be a great listener and thorough in her questioning as she determined the best plan of care for me. She will be hard to replace since I have moved to another state.

Had very bad bedside manner. Rushes you during your visit and does not make you feel as if you can ask questions. If you do ask questions she acts as if your asking stupid questions. I do not feel my health is in safe hands with her, Her interest in you as a patient stops the minute you walk out the room. I researched many doctors before selecting her and it was a bad mistake. She also seems to overbook her appointments. Whomever thinks she is a competent doctor does not expect much.

Dr. Nguyen has been my primary care physician for 15 years. I trust her, her judgement, her medical advice, and her bedside manner is beyond reproach. I would recomend her to any female or male for complete medical care. She will respond quickly to medical requests, and her nurse, Andrea monitors prescription requests daily to make sure your refills are complied with. Best internal medicine doctor around!!
