Concerning Body Shaming Experience
I am writing this review to express my concern and disappointment with the treatment my daughter received at her wellness checkup. Despite being of a healthy weight, Dr. Thomas repeatedly commented on her weight in a manner that was unnecessary and potentially harmful. This form of body shaming is particularly dangerous for young women, who are already under immense societal pressure to look a certain way.Doctors have a responsibility to provide care that is compassionate, respectful, and based on medical evidence. Constructive advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important, but it must be delivered with sensitivity and professionalism. Unfortunately, this was not her experience.I urge Dr. Thomas and the practice to reflect on this feedback and consider additional training on how to discuss weight and health in a more supportive and effective manner. Patients deserve to feel valued and respected, and this experience fell far short of that.

Fat Shaming
Very cruel. Condescending. Shut down all of my concerns and implied that I wasn't working hard enough and didn't help to create attainable solutions. Declined to provide any nutrition support. Denied to address my anxiety and blamed me for all of my own concerns, that I was there to address. Would never go back or recommend.

I feel fortunate to have Holly Thomas, MD as my physician. She is truthful and straightforward with her patients. She encourages patients to be proactive about their health and healthcare. Her advice and recommendations to me have been very well researched and practical. Her suggestions for dietary and lifestyle changes have been very practical and have helped to improve my health. She does not prescribe unnecessary medications or supplements. Furthermore, she follows the same healthy diet and lifestyle practices that she recommends to her patients. How refreshing!

Had her as my PCP doctor for years. She brushed off my concerns about my health. I had a life threatening condition she'd failed to diagnose because of lack of empathy and laziness. Deep Vein Thrombosis with all the signs and she told me to "rub my calf"! When I complained of shortness of breath, she suggested it was because I was "overweight" and had "asthma" (which she had diagnosed). In fact, I had DVTs which led to pulmonary embolism in both lungs. I don't know for how long I had them, but I had to self diagnose using the internet. I literally begged this woman for months to send me for testing because I felt horrible, but she ignored me each time. She finally grudgingly brought me in for a leg ultrasound after I'd said "I hope I don't have a DVT in my leg!". She had me come in early one morning for the ultrasound and then didn't inform me of the results until late that evening. She called me and I had to rush in to the ER close to me. They found DVTs and PEs! Zero stars!
