Dr Walker cares for my aunt, but as her primary family supporter, he keeps me informed as well,of course with her consent. He is thorough and compassionate in his approach. I highly recommend him.BTW ,I'm a RN,and can recognize a caring and competent physician

Dr Walker is a great doctor. He really spends the time to fully explain treatments in detail. He is a great listener, very supportive and attentive. He was a great support to myself and family during a very difficult time.

Very disappointed in the care received. If you have a serious cancer, seek care elsewhere. Staff was great though.

Dr. Walker is a very nice and intelligent man. However, he did seem to be very unprepared at the first visit with him. He was asking questions that could easily be answered if the chart was reviewed prior to the appointment. As a healthcare worker, I expected more prepared-ness for a first meeting with a new patient. He also used a lot of medical jargon that I understood, but my family was unfamiliar with and had to ask to clarify a lot of things unnecessarily.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Walker and his office staff. All were welcoming and friendly. Dr. Walker is one of the most caring physicians I have encounter. He was prompt took a very detailed history, thoroughly explain the diagnosis tests needed and answered all questions. Being a nurse I have very high standards for the doctor that I see. Dr. Walker not only met those standards he exceeded them! I would highly recommend Dr. Walker and the Edward-Elmhurst Cancer Center.
