Dr. Ahmed failed to provide even a basic standard of care during a recent hospital stay. She failed to perform a physical examination, take a patient history, or review medical records. The lattermost failure led to the administration of contraindicated medications that made the patient sicker. Additionally, Dr. Ahmed refused to see the patient for over eight hours while the patient’s physical state deteriorated. When Dr. Ahmed finally showed up, she was rude, arrogant, uncaring, assumptive, and displayed no interest in listening to the patient or providing an explanation for the patient’s symptoms. This woman should have her medical license revoked and should not be permitted to “treat” future patients.
