Not a doctor for thyroid issues!
Dr. Allababidi is NOT a doctor to see for Hashimoto's. I saw him after my former doctor moved to another state, and Dr. Allababidi cut my medication to the point that I could no longer get up to go to work. He may be a good doctor for diabetes - just NOT a good doctor for my concerns.

I have been a patient of Dr. Allababidi's for almost a year now and highly recommend him. He is kind and respectful, answers all my questions, and takes time with me during appointments, and provided excellent medical care for me. His staff is friendly and professional.

In 2014 I went to Dr. Allababidi in very poor health. Along with major spine problems and depression I had let my diabetes, my weight spiral out of control. He was very professional and most of all caring. Today my diabetes is under fair control and I am 129 pounds less. I owe my being alive to write this to this doctor and Mia Hindi.

Very poor experience. Before the visit you receive multiple phone calls and a letter in the mail; the letter states that if you are late for your appointment that you will not be admitted ever, and that you should show up thirty minutes before the appointment. I sat in the waiting room for two hours, for a visit that probably lasted ten minutes so I could be told to do the same testing that I had just had. Follow up is incredibly slow.

It is because of his care and willingness to listen to me that I have a better handle on my health. I was seeing him for thyroid issues and felt like I had developed diabetes. When I arrived at my appointment he asked me about my thyroid and I told him that I had been using my husbands glucose meter to check my sugars. He immediately got the instant A1C test and I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. He took a very proactive approach and because of him I have a good handle on my diabetes.

Do not waste your time. My two visits were spent more with the nurse and waiting in the clinic room than with him. Both visits resulted in labs of which I still don't have the results, this last time after two months. During my second visit, when he suggested more labs, I stated he was ordering the same this time as he did at my last visit, and he said no, they were different. He is rushed and has the compassion of the chair I kept warm waiting for him. More interested in my money than me.
