Scheduling is a nightmare via SUMMIT
I am a patient of a few years. I cannot stand SUMMIT HEALTH - you can never call directly to the office but have to go through Central Scheduling which is ridiculous IF you have an urgent issue . I tried to change doctors to see another one with Summit and was told 'that is not allowed'. Seriously ? I really trust and like Dr. Shah and wish he was in private practice instead of with this Summit Health. After my 3rd attempt to see him, I finally insisted upon being transferred directly to the office & was told 'No openings for 3 months'. The woman then proceeded to squeeze me in at an office that is no convenient but I don't care - I need to see him

I just had my first visit with Dr. Shah. Lovely & friendly staff, clean office with parking. Everyone seems efficient. He is such a nice person. He listens, explains everything thoroughly, isn't intimidating and I found him very down to earth. I am going to go for a CT scan, as I anticipated would be the next step. I have nodules on my lungs which was found incidentally via a different imaging test. I see many specialists due to a condition I have and I consider Dr. Shah to be top shelf.

Dr. Shah is one fantastic doctor as well as a highly competent, understanding and very kind pulmonologist. I wish also is was my primary physician.

He could not find out what was wrong with me. He said 20 years never seen a case like mine. Lucky I found out why my oxygen level went so low.

I love Dr. Shah, he's excellent and kind physician. I only wish he wasn't a specialist, I love for him to be my primary doctor. Dr. Shah staff is top notch, especially Kelsey, she's the competent assistant I've encounter in over 50 as an adult going to doctors. I would highly recommend Dr. Shah to anyone who needs a pulmonary doctor.
