Rude and didn’t treat me
I went in to see Dr. Tierney when I was sick and she told me she doesn’t treat acutely sick patients, acted like I was wasting her time, was sighing, and very condescending and rude. One of the WORST doctors I’ve ever been to. Horrible bedside manner. Don’t go into medicine if you don’t want to actually help people.

Great surgeon who answered all my questions
Dr. Tierney answered all my questions and allayed my concerns. She also explained what she saw as she scoped my throat, which is more than most would do. After-care was great, and she answered my call even when she was out with her own medical issues.

Dismissive, rude, and didn’t care about my pain.
I saw this doctor today for persistent throat swelling and irritation. She was dismissive, rude, and did not even flinch when I was sobbing about the pain I’m in. She told me “do a nasal rinse and try a nasal spray” and that was it. For my THROAT. I literally told her i passed out from being unable to eat due to my throat, and just a blank stare. Absolutely nothing useful came from this appointment, a waste of gas and time.

Dr. Tierney was rude when she greeted me and was super judgmental from the start. She warmed up a bit as the visit went on but was not very helpful for what I went to see her for.
