She advocated for me every step of the way
Dr. Ezzeddine is the most amazing surgeon I've personally ever met. Not only did she save my life, she advocated for me every step of the way when other doctors wouldn't because my case was too complicated. Hibba is the type of surgeon that you can only wish for with the changes to the medical system. She personally called me to check in, she allowed me to communicate with her directly if I had questions or emergencies after my surgery. Having a surgeon/doctor that knows you're anxious and cares enough to give you their direct line for things that pop up is unheard of today. It's so comforting to know that your medical care team is invested in your health and wants to make your experience (as stressful as it may be) the best it can be. Unfortunately for me, Dr. E has left MCV and will not be available for my reconnection surgery (I'm seriously devastated about the news). If you're lucky enough to be under her care just know that she's got your back and will not let you down.
