We were looking for guidance on managing our 18-month-old son's severe food allergies, a situation new to us since no one else in our family has food allergies. Our son was about to start daycare, and we wanted to consult with our allergist on the proper emergency protocols before he started. We tried to reconnect with the previous allergist we saw, but they were only available every 2-3 months. Therefore, we attempted to switch to a new allergist who would be more available. We scheduled a new patient appointment with Dr. Parekh.Unfortunately, Dr. Parekh began by telling us we should already know how to handle our son's allergies and then refused to answer our questions. He declined to offer any level of care because we had 'visited a previous allergist.' Keep in mind, we paid for this visit and were attempting to switch our son to become his patient. His behavior left us without the guidance we needed.Thankfully, a kind nurse spoke to us a

My experience with Dr. Parekh was exceptional, and I’ve seen many doctors recently in a quest to find the underlying cause(s) of my illness. He is friendly, highly knowledgeable, and very thorough. He takes the time to explain symptoms and treatment options in an in-depth, yet very easy to understand manner. He is very personable. He took the time to get to know me, my medical history, and he listened patiently to my concerns. I really enjoyed my two visits with Dr. Parekh and highly recommend him to anyone suffering from allergies!

I had high hopes for this doctor. Dr. Parekh was very impatient. He was rude to me when I didn’t understand his Diagnosis and was rushing me out of his office. I was frustrated and asked him why her throat is closing after eating Sometimes? I stated my daughter had used the EpiPen numerous times this year. He said it wasn’t because of food allergies (except for shellfish) and it is a auto Immune disorder. The Rheumatologist he referred me to said autoimmune disorders will not close your airways. I also asked another doctor and he also stated that Auto immune disorders do not randomly close your throat and respond to an EpiPen. After numerous testing with Rheumatologist he then referred us back to Dr. Parekh to treat her! I will not go back to this Doctor. He has been arrogant and rude both times we met with him. I waited a few months to write this review so I wasn’t so angry and could give a fair review.

Incredibly nice, efficient, patient, and *very* focused on the whole patient rather than just allergies. Great advice, and no need for further treatments. I checked this guy out, and he had *uniformly* excellent ratings on every site I checked. He had not met my primary care physician,yet--new in town--so he carried some borderline blood work results over in person in order to meet him and make sure he saw the results. What else can I say? One of the best Dr. experiences I've ever had.

Dr. Parekh was extremely knowledgeable and took his time in diagnosing my son's seasonal allergies. I trust his word as he gave me many options in how to deal with my son's allergies, and talked me through each one. I felt confident in my decision for treatment thanks to Dr Parekh's knowledge and experience. My son loved him as well! Can't recommend him & his office staff enough.

Dr. Parekh is amazing. It's very rare to find a doctor that sits down and spends time with you to make you feel like you're going to be OK. He makes sure you are comfortable before you leave his office. I would highly recommend seeing him as he is dedicated to making a plan to combat whatever allergy issue you are having.

Can Dr. Parekh be my doctor for everything? He's the best. Kind, calm, and explains everything with confidence and in a manner that is reassuring and friendly to the nervous patient (me) that dislikes going to the doctor. I've enjoyed every interaction with him.
