Dr. Maniar took exceptional care of my ex-husband. He did not rush the process of deciding on the right procedure for his care, and was so kind and caring. His staff and nurses provided a lot of comfort through our many questions which really helped to know we were doing the best option. I strongly recommend them and would trust him in the future.

He did open heart surgery on me December 7, 2018. I had aortic stenosis and a myxoma behind my heart. He did an excellent job on my surgery and he was a caring and professional doctor. I have and will continue to recommend him to many people. He saved my life.

Dr. Maniar was the best cardiothoracic surgeon to do my mitral valve replacement, tricuspid valve repair, & placement of an atrial clip. He is truly dedicated to his patients & explains the treatments that he provides. He includes you in the decision making process both before & after surgery. Dr. Maniar worked awesome with my other doctors & kept them up to date on my care. He is definitely one of the best team players that I’ve had the experience to see first hand. He makes you feel at ease within minutes of meeting him & has an excellent bedside manner & doesn't just brush you off. If you have questions he’ll take the time to answer them. Dr. Maniar is the best cardiothoracic surgeon that I’ve known. If you want the best care & treatment, you definitely want him as your surgeon!

Dr Maniar saved my husband's life. He kept looking for ways to fix my husband's mitral valve. My husband had had previous surgeries which complicated the task. His care afterwards was outstanding. He doesn't just operate and turn you over to the hospital staff. I would think all heart surgeons have difficulty keeping appointments schedules. His decision is talking to you or saving someone who is fighting for their life an operating table. He is a talented and compassionate doctor.

I had no idea whom to choose for my CABG. Glad I picked Dr Maniar. This guy is paranoid, OCD and very particular. Great for patience. Wound care and follow ups we wonderful. I feel really lucky that he was the one that cut me open. His skills are top notch and I have been told by other drs that my incision was textbook. If you are going to have surgery on your heart, you can feel safe and secure with Dr Maniar. (IMO) I didn’t like seeing other reviews that put him down. I get that things don’t always go correctly, but he went above and beyond catching problems that MAY have occurred and headed them off before they became an issue. 3 weeks after surgery he was able to release me back to the care of my cardiologist.
