Dr. Herman Lawson Jr, MD

Doctor Lawson is routinely behind schedule but it is well worth the wait. He cares more about you than rushing through a visit so, once in the room, he still gives you his full attention and the time you need. I so appreciate that he has not adopted a cold, sterile "hospital" like approach, as front desk new hire have, now that Communiy Medical is a Holy Spirit family practice. Don't like Holy Spirit additions to waiting areas or push to its Urgent Care for sick visits.

As a healthy 20-something, I didn't need to go to the doctor but I decided to use my insurance's free annual preventative care visit. Despite being perfectly healthy I was billed for a sick visit and told afterward that new patient visits don't qualify for preventative care. I was asked to come back for a full physical and to get blood work done a week before hand. When I came in for the blood work, I was told that no order had been placed for me. I'm done with them wasting my time and money.
