Dr. Herman Bagga, MD

I was referred to this guy by my PCP for hormonal issues. I’m not sure about his urology knowledge/experience. But he is extremely unknowledgeable when it comes to hormones. He started to get upset when i asked some simple questions that he did not know the answer to. Not even 5 minutes into the appointment he quickly wanted to refer me to an endocrinologist. After i had waited upwards of 3 months for the appointment. I asked if there was anything he could do, not an endocrinologist - “we can end this appointment right now if you want”. I said okay, and left. Then he puts on the appointment notes “patient preferred to see endocrinologist” - NO you preferred to send me off to an endocrinologist .. “I asked if he would prefer we cancel this appointment and he said ok” NO you threatened to cancel the appointment and i was not going to continue being disrespected.

Dr Bagga has been my urologist for several years. My first impression when I met him was that he is very patient and kind. He thoroughly explained my options and his recommendations. The office staff including his nurse were also very nice, professional and responsive if you called with questions.

Dr. Bagga has been my Urologist for about 18 months. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. It took about one minute on the first visit to know I had the right doctor here. Dr. Bagga has a great personality and is very easy to talk. It was very easy for me to open up about a problem I was having. I highly recommend him. Atllanta will be very lucky to have him!

Thank you Dr. Bagga for saving my life. His surgical skills are exemplary and his overall medical knowledge is unsurpassed by others. Dr. Bagga treats his patients, like they are family. It is always a pleasure to go for follow up care, because of his close doctor/patient relationship. Not only does he explain the procedure to the patient, he also follows up with family members and other referring physicians. Words cannot express the gratitude and respect we have for Dr. Bagga. Truly a blessing and an asset to all patients.

I have been a patient of Dr Bagga for the past 6 1/2 years. He is exceptional in many ways. He is patient, kind, extremely knowledgeable and a very skilled surgeon. He takes as much time as is necessary to listen to his patients and then explains his plan of action so that it is very understandable. His demeanor gives his patients so much reassurance and confidence that everything will be alright. I am truly sad that he left our area.

Dr. Bagga explained my problem and options for fixing it. When the treatment became too expensive, he and his office worked to find an alternate, less expensive option. The office team works well together and appointments always started on time.

Dr. Bagga is genuinely interested in his patients. He listens to his patient's concerns and addresses those concerns directly. He takes the time to explain any procedure thoroughly. As a surgeon he is willing and able to take on the difficult surgeries (as was mine), doing so with confidence and skill. I finally found a great urologist and he is moving to Atlanta. Our loss is their gain.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bagga for a few years now and he has always been kind, compassionate, and caring. He had performed the Urolift procedure on me about two years ago and made me a new man! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bagga!

I first met Dr. Bagga for kidney stones, then moved on to a bladder biopsy and finally a cystoscopy with BURP to treat bladder obstruction. His explanations were always thorough and he would take as much time as necessary to go over any concerns. The cystoscopy itself went very smoothly and recovery was easy. His knowledge of his specialty is very thorough and his concern for his patients is always apparent. I'm sorry to see him leave this area but it is Atlanta's gain.

Dr. Bagga was amazing. He was able to do kidney stone surgery on me in short time’s notice. His bedside manner is awesome! Makes you feel super comfortable in very uncomfortable situations. He explains everything in a way you can understand and takes as much time as you need to answer your questions. I couldn’t recommend him enough.

I was referred to Dr. Bagga by my previous urologist who was planning to retire within a year. He had previously treated me for kidney stones, but was treating me for BHP and recurring urinary tract infections without symptoms at the time he recommended Dr. Bagga to me. My initial visit to Dr. Bagga was in March, 2018. His examination was very thorough and comprehensive. After preforming a cystosccopy in his office, he clearly explained the variuos treatment options for an enlarged prostate with bladder outlet obstruction and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). We decided on transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) rather than pharmacologic therapy. It was nothing short of a miracle as far as I'm concerned. Now, I can sleep through the night without having to make multiple trips to empty my bladder. More recently, Dr. Bagga has provided excellent guidance concerning elevated PSA levels. He is always very patient, thorough, and very easy to understand.

Dr. Bagga is very thorough during the exam. He explains the condition to the patient in a way that is understandable. He listens to the questions and concerns the patients have and responds to them in a manner that is empathic. I did not feel rushed during the exam and all my concerns were addressed. Before meeting Dr.Bagga I was Suffering greatly, But after being treated by him the past couple of years,my life has completely turned . I no longer endure the many symtoms of prostrate cancer and the set backs it creates from year to year. He is by far the best doctor I have ever encountered in my 71 years of life. He is caring, has great bedside manner and really cares about the health and well being of his patients. He has literally saved my life! To me he is a saint!

Very thorough. Took care of my multiple problems

I had (3) operations with Dr. Herman Bagga, he is professional and made me at ease from beginning to the end. I highly recommend Dr. Bagga.

Dr. Bagga is not only an amazing Doctor he is an awesome individual. I am a patient of one of the other urologists in the group he works with, I had an issue with incontinence after prostrate removal, and he suggested I talk to Dr. Bagga about a procedure to help with it. I made an appointment and found out that he was leaving, the staff got me in as soon as possible , talked to Dr. Bagga, he told me he would do my procedure before he left and he did just that.. I had my procedure done on Halloween and had my follow up on November 14th. Everything is going well, I only wish I could continue my recovery with him but he has assured me that my recover is going great. He is not only a great Doctors, he is a great person, he takes his time and explains everything . He definitely will be an asset to his new practice. I know I will miss him

Why would I rate Dr. Bagga a 5, only because that’s the highest rating I could give. Dr. Bagga was recommended to me by my oncologist and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I had an enlarged prostate and Dr. Bagga explained everything to me, in detail and suggested we try Flomax to see how that went. After 3 months the symptoms didn’t abate as much as we had hoped so we talked about either adding a second drug or a TURP, going over the positives and negatives of both. I opted for the TURP and I was glad I did. I had the procedure on a Thursday and was out of the hospital and after a week of taking it easy was back to work a week later. I cannot stress how good Dr. Bagga was at explaining everything and completing the surgery. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing a Urologist and in my opinion you won’t be disappointed.

I have been associated with Dr. Bagga for several years and he has been of great help improve to my condition. He is an excellent communicator and always was very positive that a solution could be found, and fortunately before he announced he was relocating, he was able to correct what was ailing me. For that I am very grateful!!!
