Dr. Henry Zegzula, MD

I went to Dr Zegzula after recommendations & reading reviews. I was shocked at my experience. I got a breast reduction (happy with those results, otherwise would leave 1 star) & mini tummy tuck and lipos of the abdomen. Dr Zegzula was direct which I appreciated at first, but it soon escalated to outright rudeness. After my surgery when I expressed concerns about uneven, lopsided results he told me I was 'being unreasonable', 'bodies aren't symmetrical', & 'if I thought I looked bad now, I should look back at my before pictures.' I ended up sobbing standing naked in front of him. He was dismissive of questions & requests-when I mentioned another area I was interested in discussing lipo in, he said 'No it's not needed there' and that was the end of discussion. I regret not advocating for myself better. Eventually he admitted liposuction needed but he tried to charge me a surgeon's fee again. I would never recommend him and I will go elsewhere for revision

Choosing Dr. Zegzula for my breast augmentation revision was honestly the best decision. At 60 years old I was concerned about achieving my goals and feeling secure with the outcome. I wanted to be able to fix my breast from a previous surgery, which I was never satisfied with and ended up being very unattractive. Dr. Zegzula attention to detail, surgical technique, and exceptional bedside manner exceeded my expectations, and I received the highest quality care. He made me feel comfortable to ask my many questions, and even went over pictures of what my breast augmentation would look like, and reassured me multiple times on the surgical procedure. His goal was to help me achieve my ideal image while still recommending what was best surgically for my body type (pretty narrow rib cage). My breast augmentation met all of my expectations now too months post op. No pain/swelling, and no numb areas in my breasts. My size is symmetrical and proportionate to my body type. I would highly recommend Dr. Zegzula. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was told I needed a double mastectomy. Dr. Zegzula explained all my options and listened to all my concerns. In the end I was lucky enough to keep my natural breasts and just have a lumpectomy and breast reduction. This would not have been the outcome without Dr. Zegzula. He gave me great advise and explained all my options clearly. He is a perfectionist with his work and I couldn't be happier

I am thankful to have worked with Dr. Zegzula. He was very helpful as I navigated the overwhelming situation of a cancer diagnosis, bilateral mastectomy with expander placement surgery and the subsequent expander to implant surgery. Dr. Zegzula put me at ease when I was concerned and was thoughtful and thorough with his explainations.

Dr. Zegzula was absolutely amazing! I went from a K cup to a DD and I have never been happier or more confident in my life. I have always had large boobs but a tiny rib cage and had never felt comfortable in my own skin. Thanks to Dr. Zegzula and Portland Plastic Surgery I am happy and confident and my life has drastically improved. I can never thank you enough! They scheduled around my schedule and helped me get it done before classes started so I was healed and wouldn't have to miss any school

He was condescending, biased and annoyed at the questions that were asked by us. When asked to see a portfolio of similar surgeries we were seeking he declined stating if another appointment was made then we could see it.

Dr Zezula is great plastic surgeon. I had a bilateral mastectomy with breast reconstruction implants. I am extremely happy with my results. Dr Zegzula made my emotional experience easier. He is supportive, informative, kind , understanding, and profession. I never felt rushed or that my concerns weren't valid. He has an excellent staff who are a joy to talk to and again kind, patient and professional. I highly recommend Dr Zegzula.
