Ten years of misdiagnoses, cocktails and poor office management. You’re better off trying to medicate yourself. He doesn’t know anything about modern practices nor treatments.

Dr. Kaplan is simply amazing. I have been seeing him for years and he always meets me with compassion and understanding. He is such a great person who relates well to people and mental health. I would highly recommend him as a doctor. He is simply one of the best out there.

I would not recommend for anyone to go to Midwest Behavioral Health. My son was a patient there and was dropped without notice. They have terrible staff turnover. I have called the office several times and they do not call back. I was told that they only have 2 Dr's & we would have to go elsewhere. No regard for their patients at all or helping them find a new physician. After several years, I am disappointed in Dr Kaplan and his staff. We will never go back.

At first, I felt confident with Dr. Kaplan. I heard nothing but great things; however, as soon as we left his office things changed. If I had questions, it would take 24-48 hours to receive a call back. As a matter of fact, EVERYTIME I called I had to leave a message. I was never able to speak with an actual person. When I did receive the call back, the person returning the call would never be informed enough to answer any questions, which would mean I would have to wait even longer (another 24h

Dr. Kaplan has been a very compassionate and caring advocate for my 10 year old who has gone through a life changing trauma. He was the 3rd psychiatrist that we saw. He was very thorough in his assessment and was able to finally the right treatment for her. He was a Godsend to us.

He makes me feel normal. He cares and ordered tests and found physical problems that all of the other specialists couldn't. He is willing to look beyond the surface for answers. Excellent doctor!

Dr Kaplan is the most attentive, knowledgable, and caring doctor I've ever met. He has done wonders for my son in regards to finding the right medication/dose after other doctors it seemed were okay playing a guessing game with little to no concern how my son was actually being affected. I am grateful we found him when we did because we were losing hope that our son would ever get the correct help he needed. Since day one he made us feel confident in his ability to help us any way possible.
