Dr Elsner listens to everything you have to say and does everything in his power to help He is the Greatest Dr I have ever been to When he gets into your room he is so attentive and so patient to see what can be done to help I have been going to him since 1993. he is the Best

There is no doubt that Dr. Elsner cares deeply about his patients’ comfort and continued health. It is sometimes difficult to describe symptoms , but Dr. Elsner listens carefully and asks questions until he fully understands what the patient is experiencing. His explanation of the cause of the symptoms gives one confidence that his solutions will be successful. I have been a patient on three occasions since 2002 and have great confidence in his ability and his commitment to successful outcomes. In my opinion, he is the GOAT (Greatest of all time)!

Dr. Elsner performed a surgery on my mother that left her with life altering drop foot. He disappeared after the surgery and sent his physician's assistant. When our family began asking educated questions about the error during surgery, our mother was suddenly released to a sub par rehabilitation center nursing home. Thankfully we were able to intervene and get her the best rehabilitative care. Dr. Elsner promised our mother she would walk out of the hospital. Instead, her quality of life was forever changed by his error. Please make sure to do your due diligence before choosing this surgeon. There are many other patients with similar stories.

Dr. Elsner listened, went over my xray studies with me. He asked the appropriate questions about my symptoms and concerns. He demonstrated that he fully understood my health issues. He came up with a very reasonable course of action to help me get my body back to a comfortable functioning level again. I highly recommend Dr. Elsner and his staff to anyone and everyone looking for a thorough examination from the best neurosurgeon in our area with the friendliest staff. Simply put he spoke to me and treated me like family and I appreciate that!

Before choosing a neurosurgeon, I asked medical friends of mine for a referral. Everyone that I spoke with including a retired neurosurgeon told me Dr. Elsner was simply the best there is. After my initial office visit, I understood why they would say that. Dr. Elsner has a great way of explaining complex medical conditions in layman's terms so you completly understand what you are dealing with. My lower back surgery went very well and with very minor pain afterwards. I was able to manage the post operation pain with Acetaminophen. After being confined to a wheelchair for over three months, I was able to walk laps in the surgery center right after recovery. If you want the very best neurosurgeon in the Triad, Dr. Henry Elsner is your man.

I was late for my appointment, Dr Elsner still took time to see me. Dr. Elsner was very helpful. He did not think surgery was needed. A far cry from what two other doctors told me. He is very knowledgeable and told me that surgery would be the last option. He gave me some stretches to do and he was right. The stretches are working and taking away my pain. I highly recommend Dr. Elsner.

Dr Elsner is extremely knowledgeable and professional about his field. He does not rush you. Answers questions in layman’s terms. I have been going to him for about 12 years. He has operated on me quite a few tims. I have had many operations by different Doctors in my opinion Dr Elsner is simply the absolute best. I would recommend him in a second to snyone.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but felt like Dr Elsner definitely deserved this! Great first time experience with him. Extremely thorough and informative. He waited for me after I had to go to another office and retrieve my MRI disc that they had left blank (not Dr. Elsners fault). Helped me thoroughly understand what I was dealing with and made me feel 100% comfortable.

You seldom find doctors of of this caliber--Dr. Elsner is professional, extremely knowledgeable, warm and caring. He takes his time and doesn't rush through a visit. He goes above expectations and answers questions and thinks through next steps and best treatments for the individual. He followed up our visit with a phone call to provide additional information.
