Dr. Henry Allen, DO

I’ve been a patient since 1994. It’s never a long wait to be called to the exam room. Dr. Allen is always friendly and willing to answer questions. Staff is always on top of things, and kind too!

I have been going to Dr. Allen for going on 6 years, when I first went to him he did ask about if I smoked and then suggested I stop he never refused to see me but did ask everytime I saw him if I stopped smoking unlike the experience a previous reviewer said. He has helped me a great deal and helped keep my kidney problem from progressing to much, he has always been helpful and supportive a much better and nicer doctor than I had seen previously, incidently I did stop smoking within a year of first seeing him and now can't understand why I smoked at all

I have taken my mother to Dr. Allen for several years, and she gone to him for many more before I had to start taking her. His bed side manor is outstanding, she's been in and out of the hospital several times of late; she's getting up in years and I have to say he's on top of the situation, and keeps the family well informed. He has pulled her through several rough illnesses. His office wait time is minimal, and his staff is top notch. I can't say enough praises about him!!

I used to use Dr Allen personally until an insurance change. I have referred him to many people over the years. This morning he spent exactly 2 minutes with my young adult daughter before escorting her out the door when he found out she was a smoker. Rather than encouraging her to find options on how to quit he literally kicked her out. I am so disheartened at his complete lack of bedside manner. I am just in shock that a doctor wouldn't take time to educate the patient.
