Dr. Henriette Schwab, MD

Dr. Schwab long ago retired. Her practice IS CLOSED.

I had seen Dr Schwab for at least 30 years. She is fully knowledgable and capable. She is a one-doc clinic so it was hard to get a quick appointment quickly. Esp after she decided to retire and slowly cut her office hours down. She saw many patients and always had a full schedule. After all, dermatologists are in short supply in south King County. She tried to find someone to take over her practice but could not find anyone of the quality she wanted, so she just closed down. Sad to say we lost a good doc. You'll find most of the other dermatologists in Federal Way really want to do facelifts, and other cosmetic work. Dr Schwab was the one to see if you truly had skin problems.

Dr. Schwab and her team are some of the wort professionals I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. First, they only work like 6 hours a week so it takes months to get an appointment. Their team does not communicate, so even if one employee tells you something one day, the next day it may not mean squat when speaking to someone else. I saw this doctor for hair loss and on 2 separate occasions I was put off for months causing a massive loss in my hair that I cant get back. Dr. Schwab is uncaring, disconnected, hires horrible old angry staff members, and has an office with the aesthetic appeal of a mental house dungeon. Lucky for the world she is retiring in December - The sooner the better. She has no place being in a position to help people. Her and her staff openly lie to mislead their clientele. She clearly doesn't give two sh**s about anyone but herself. If I could have given 0 stars, I would have.

I have been in to see Dr Schwab and have taken my children to see her over the past several decades. She knows her stuff. She is passionate about her work. And, yes my daughter is in medical school. She has been hugely helpful to me. I would strongly recommend her to anyone with full confidence. It is about time I visit her again.

Dr Schwab and her staff have consistently been great to work with!

Dr. Schwab is to the point when it comes to skin care, especially regarding sun damage. She has always patiently tended to my questions and concerns. In the past it had been difficult to get an appointment, but recently I had no problem when I had a specific concern and even scheduling my annual checkup I didn't have to wait too long. As to insurance coverage, check with your provider first. The office staff has been fine, even great, but it would be nice to have a call to remind of appts.

I was a long time patient of Dr. Schwab. Went in to say a cordial hello. Could not see her due to her heavy schedule. Wendy, one of the receptionist, is curt, rude, and very dismissive. She apologize for her actions, but did not leave a good, approachable impression. We are there to see a doctor. Wendy lost my vote to ever deal with her actions. Do not sabotage Dr. Schwab's availability, Wendy... Shame on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eddie

She's execellent at diagnosing things. At a glance she sees things other doctors don't even know what your talking about. She diagnosed a lower leg rash and then checked and told me why I had the swelling in my lower legs. I think she's one of the best doctors overall in the Federal Way area and not just for dermatology.

Very courteous and efficient care and personnel. I would recommend Dr Schwab's office to anyone who needs to see a dermatologist.
