My experience was not good. I have been his patient for many years. I recently had a heart attack requiring an emergency stent. He didn’t want to hear that the cardiologist said that had I been on a statin I wouldn’t have had the heart attack. He only wanted to talk about me drinking too much. He didn’t check back to see my colestoral and has never noticed that I have lost over 25 pounds unintentionally over the last three years. This Dr. is too full of himself. I’m looking for a new doctor.

I have been seeing doctor Pforte for 10years now and so do my children. He is a wonderful doctor very attentive to any issues you are having, very respectful and professional. Always seems to run on time but I never feel rushed. A very hardworking doctor taking wonderful care of his patients. Thankful for such a wonderful family doctor.

Dr. Pforte is an outstanding family practice physician. He is the most thorough doctor whom I've ever seen. He's especially focused on preventive health care, and makes sure that all blood work and other tests are completed before a physical exam. He patiently answers all questions that you have. If you have a major problem that requires specialist care, he remains involved and concerned about your well being. And he stays current on recent developments in medical science. Skagit Regional Health is fortunate to have him on their staff.

It's comical that someone in California writes a 1 star review since Dr. Pforte has been seeing me in northwest WA state for approx 15 years. Like other modern doctors he has to counter patient's internet searches with his own training and experience. He takes good care of himself so I imagine he knows what he is doing. Retired from work so now I will be seeing him through Medicare.
