Dr. Hena Tewari, MD

My experience with Dr. Tewari was strewn with significant errors: negligence in evaluating symptoms, failure to diagnose, and refusal to conduct necessary tests. Her callous bedside manner led to premature discharge, resulting in my return 12 hours later in preventable premature labor. My medical charts were filled with mistakes, including descriptions of pain on the wrong side of my body. Best Dr. I have seen in last 25 yrs. Recommend to ANYONE without hesitations. She is knowledgeable, polite and concerning.

The previous comment seems inappropriate because Dr. Hena Tewari has not been in Marion, IN for 6 years. She is practicing in an academic setting in Texas. She is a very knowledgable and kind doctor who is very easy to talk to. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Tewari had no "bed side manner." Abrupt, rushed, zero explanations, didn't listen well & condescending when pressed for an answer. No empathy & no connection to or genuine interest in her patients. After a simple procedure (iud insertion) was so painful that I nearly passed out & had full body shakes. The pain cont for 6+ weeks. Did a follow up to discuss it, she checked placement, said everything looked good & there was no reason for the pain, so take ibuprofen & it'll eventually go away.
