Apparently we like to play games with patients and their families emotional state. They go in for a surgery based on another doctor referral and then have a consult with Dr. Pandrangi and she comes in with an attitude. Horrible bed side manner standing with her arms crossed. Then decide to do a different procedure. However, when they come to get the patient and patient is on their way out the door calls and says he isn't going today. With no one able to provide us further information. So we have spent 5 days in the hospital waiting for a heart surgery a different cardio doctor says he needs and not only does she say he doesn't need it, she provides no further information and cancels the other tests she previously ordered.

Dismissive, unprepared and late
I wasn’t seen until hours after my original time, she came in was extremely rushed said I’ll be back and came back 30-40 minutes later I could hear her in the room over with another patient. She didn't read my chart prior didn’t discuss my main concerns dismissed me put in my charts I was hysterical (I was tearful but that’s it I had not eaten and my bp was really low) I pass out a lot which was the whole point of the appointment and felt dismissed. She tried to place me on a bp med to higher it and I said okay so what about when my bp is normal or extremely high which if she read my chart she would have known this. She did order some testing but I am hesitant to trust her. She also put in the charts I was asking her for adderal. I did not my psychiatrist stopped my adderal due to the unknown health issues, said to ask my dr. If it was ok to be placed back on it. I asked her if she has a suggestion on adhd meds that would be safe until we know what’s going on & again dismissive.

Doctor made me feel comfortable and listened to what I had to say. I didn't realize she is the doctor that helped save my life when I was in the ER. Thank you to Doctor Pandrangi and Miami Valley for all you have done.

Since I go with my husband to his cardiologist, I have a direct comparison to my cardiologist. His cardiologist is direct, attentive, and positive. Dr. Pandrangi was dismissive, did not ask questions, and was arrogant.

Only cardiologist to take a holistic approach to my care. She looked at other providers' treatments and prescriptions, diet, lifestyle, activity and my overall health. Other providers simply tacked on drugs without considering conditions that could be affected by these drugs.

I was told that someone would call me about scheduling an ultrasound. When I checked out I was told that I could just call to schedule the ultrasound so that results would be available for my follow up appointment in six weeks. I will call Central Scheduling to make an appointment for an ultrasound.

This was an interesting visit because I had had an weird episode while working out two days before where I had to stop and sit down, rest, and then drive myself home. We went over the drug change that another doctor had prescribed, and I was told it conflicted with what she had prescribed and I had been taking for several years. She changed the timing of taking this pill and gave me a new prescription for a different drug. All is well now!

it's nice that a cardiologist is available closer to my home than at the 122 Wyoming St. building. The medical assistant, cardiologist, and receptionist were wonderful. I appreciated the cardiologist's perspective and advice.

The receptionist was so sweet and apologetic that they were having computer issues and couldn't sign me in immediately. The nurse who took me back was very attentive and listened to everything, helped me move to the table. Dr. Pandrangi is so good at explaining everything and takes her time with you and explained every question/concern I had clearly. I love the climate and teamwork of this office!
