Rude staff. Not helpful whatso ever.

Dr Cruz is VERY thorough, asks the right questions AND listens to you! ...and his nurses and office staff are the nicest, most competent Ive seen!

I had a very good relationship with my last Neurologist who moved out of state. My first visit with Dr. Cruz was impressive in that he was very thorough. While he was a bit "standoffish" on my first visit, he became much easier to talk with on my 2nd & 3rd visit with him. I've grown to love him as much as my last Neurologist and is very good with my MS and now also with my memory problems. He is moving down the road to Gallatin and I'll follow him anywhere within reason. As it is, I have to drive 2 hours to get to his office but he's worth it. It is so hard to find a good Neurologist, especially one who specializes in MS. Definitely 5 Stars!

To be fair, everyone has off days, and life outside of work. Perhaps very busy schedules and weight on their shoulders. We had a long wait to get in. 2.5 months after a stroke. We were so glad, after having an mri, to be brought in quickly for answers. We were grateful and happy to be there. He controlled the room quickly. But I respect focus and professionalism, fine. However, we were very unimpressed with how questions were handled. It seemed as tho our questions were “below average” He spoke in doctor without explanation, as if everybody knows the terminology. When we asked questions, there were several responses of “Im not sure what your asking or I’m not sure what your question is”. To put it nicely, he seems “Very comfortable “making people feel uncomfortable”. His staff was helpful, efficient and kind . We just left feeling a little awkward and that we had been emotionally abused for asking important questions. I’m sure he’s a good doctor. Be prepared for stern.

I had three visits, one as an new patient and two for a battery of tests. Though the nursing staff were congenial, dr Cruz was rather cold and stand-offish not really offering much information or insight as to my potential problems. The tests he ran on me were inconclusive and spread over two visits though the combined time testing was 30 minutes. However I was told this was for insurance purposes and I ended up with pretty significant bills and am still without new information, only the prospect of mire testing.

i was a patient of Dr. Cruz, until I asked a question about the dosage of a medication when he was adding another medication to it. He got upset that I questioned him and pointed to his diploma saying he was the doctor and if I thought I knew more than him that I should find another doctor. I did find another doctor. It is unfortunate that I live in a rural area and there are not many neurologists to chose from. I thought he would explain not yell at me. I have seizures and no matter how much medicine he gave me I still had them.

Dr. Cruz was very professional and attentive to my Mom’s questions. He did a very detailed examination, spending a long time with my Mom. He really paid attention to the medication and dosage. A few hours after, he even called on the phone to say that he had contacted the pharmacy to check about my Mom’s dosage history, and he wanted for my Mom to readjust the dosage!!!! Mom is really happy to be his patient.

We contacted Dr. Cruz at the advice of my primary care doctor. This was a great move. With all this virus going around my appointment was changed and I had to contact his office again and the two different ladies I spoke with (at two different times) were very nice and polite. Everything with the appointment went very good. Dr. Cruz's nurse has been with him for 20 years and was very efficient she got the full history and when Dr. Cruz came in he was very thorough. He showed me the MRI and what was going on and explained it in a manner that could be understood. If I needed a neurologist he will be the one I go to.

It was my first visit. Dr, Cruz was very attentive to my description of my issues. He would do some testing of my nerves with different tools and would then give us both hand sanitizer. When he would do something else he did the same thing. He spent about 30 minutes with me asking questions and checking responses. A lady who came in before him spent about 30 minutes asking me questions. I felt like they were really interested in me. I will go back in a couple of weeks for him to perform nerve testing. I was very pleased.

Well it was my 6month check and everything went well. The staff was nice and Dr Cruz is top notch. I think he is the best dr I have every had. I can’t see where they need to change a thing. The old saying if it’s not broke don’t fix it.

It was our first visit with Dr. Cruz. We came away with a very favorable impression of him.

This was my 2nd Follow Up appointment for additional evaluation. The MA, Trish, that administered the short test was very smart and easy to work with. Dr Cruz discussed the results and additional diagnostics available. He comes across as an interested, carring expert seeking the best solutions for my issues. I feel very comfortable talking with him and HIGHLY recommend him. However, I definitely look forward to the time that mask wearing won't be necessary.

Proffesional and personable staff that gives me confidence in their recommendations for my care.

Because Dr. Cruz is well known and respected in the medical community (I believe) his practice is very busy and requires a wait time to get in to see him; however, due to a cancellation, I was able to get in sooner which I really appreciated. They were very accommodating in the middle of the COVID19 crisis. Everyone in the office that I met with were very kind and I never felt like they were in a rush to get me through. The receptionist spent time explaining the upcoming tests to me which I really appreciated.

Dr Cruz is highly recommended! He is very very good at what he does! and caring. I brought my mom in and I felt that he was so good at examining her from head to toe~ in order to get her diagnoses.
