Dr S was extremely helpful and kind to me with my health issue.

I don’t think I can trust my gynecological health to a doctor better than Dr.Helen. She really cares about her patients & always does what is in their best interest, not what can bring her more income. She never runs to unneeded procedures or interventions. She waited on a surgery of mine to give me a chance to decide on the issue of having children, & when the surgery became necessary, on the day of the surgery, she greeted me with a big smile, which reflected her confidence , which in turn comforted me a lot. During the operation, she didn’t rush, but took an extra 2 hours to remove even the smallest fibroids, to keep my ovary & to do it robotically without a big opening. During normal visits, I noticed she has skillful hands, she gives time to answer all my questions. Above this, she is v. responsive to emails, sometimes even on weekends. I’m still in recovery, and haven’t observed how my health is gonna be after surgery, but I’m grateful up till now. I highly recommend her.

I have Vulvodynia and she has been very helpful these issues that are hard to deal with. She is the best Gyn I have ever had and I am older. She deals a lot with post menopausal issues.

Does not consider anything to be an emergency, does not get back to you for days, rough exams even for my daughter who has endometriosis. Condescending and rushes you through visit.VERY difficult to even call the office for appt.Do not recommend at all

I went to Dr. Simigiannis because I needed a new doctor, and decided to try her based on some good reviews. On my first visit, I explained some concerns I had to her. She asked some follow up questions and then proceeded to totally dismiss my concerns and symptoms in a very condescending, unempathetic, and unprofessional manner. She said that others had it so much worse than me so I should consider myself lucky. How does that help me? She then told me to deal with it because what I was experiencing wasn’t that bad. It was very upsetting to be treated that way. I do not recommend Dr. S because I feel like she doesn’t really care about you as a person. She doesn’t remember who you are, she does what she wants to do, is dismissive of your concerns and feelings, and doesn’t take them seriously. Dr. S doesn’t see or care if you’re uncomfortable emotionally or physically. She gets in and gets out, then bills you. She’s condescending, demeaning, rude, and unprofessional. Find another doctor!

I had never had a bad experience at Antheia meeting with Dr. Yana Markidan who was always incredibly sweet and caring. The first (and only) time I had Helen Simigiannis, she was extremely condescending and rude. I was in the middle of explaining my symptoms, when she stopped me and said to stop using the word "like". Doctors make me nervous (as I have had a bad experience in the past), and I told her this, to which she responded, in an extremely patronizing manner, that it was a bad habit and made me seem "unprofessional", and if I wanted to be hired for a job I had to break the habit, and that she said the same thing to her toddler-aged daughter. I am not a toddler, I am in college, and I came in for an urgent medical reason, not a lecture or a job interview. She wasn't at all focused on the gynecological issues I was having, instead zeroing in on my diction and seemed disinterested and cold the entire time. If you have a chronic condition and are looking for a doctor who demonstrates a little patience and understanding (because those of us with chronic conditions know how difficult it is to find a doctor like this)- THEN DO NOT GO TO DR HELEN SIMIGIANNIS. I have never had such a bad experience at a Doctor's office. She immediately tells me that she will not help me, and I barely got three sentences out. I would have understood and processed the information appropriately if Dr. Simigiannis had not been so rude and mean. Her bedside manner was so cold, I ran out of the office crying. Even my mother was in tears because of how she was speaking to us. She is working with people who suffer from chronic conditions and she showed little to no empathy. I am shocked a woman doctor spoke to another woman like this. I work in a holistic therapy office and I would never speak to the patients like she did. I still cannot stop crying even as I am writing this. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE

The staff members are polite and efficient, the location is convenient, and that doctor was fairly friendly, but I didn't find it to be a satisfying overall experience in terms of getting my medical issues addressed. Tests came back normal, but I still have issues with pain and felt they were dismissed. A message to the doctor via the patient portal in late December about those issues was ignored. I will be finding a different gyno. who is more responsive.

I had a bad experience with this doctor. She was very demeaning toward me. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. Also, I was on the way to the office for an appointment and I got a call at exactly the appointment time saying I had missed the appointment and would have to reschedule. I was literally walking through the door when the call came. They didn't explain, though they did keep the appointment. Unfortunately, they put me in an office and left me there for a very long time without any communication. Then the doctor came in and was very condescending. She was explaining a medical process, and I summarized it back to her to confirm that I understood. She laughed in my face.

Friendly & pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend Dr Helen to ALL my friends, who wants a very informative, attentive, and knowledgeable dr. Thank you Dr. Helen!!

I guess my review didnt hit the front page news. The young kid dark hair front dest thinks she is something..she is an unwise employee on your staff. She makes everyone look bad. Her behavior is uncalled for.

I contacted this office based on the reviews. I'm new to the area and am searching for a new GYN. Unfortunately, I couldn't get pass the rude behavior from the medical associate when scheduling an appointment. I have an urgent issue but the medical associate made me feel worthless and was very irritated with my questions. Because I'm a new patient she put me in to see the doctor in 4 weeks from today, not caring about my urgent issue. I decided to search for another practitioner.

Dr. Helen & all her staff are compassionate, caring and professional. I highly recommend this office to anyone. Dr. Helen & staff answer all questions completely and clearly, they do not rush but make sure you understand their answers to any questions you might have.

Dr. Simigiannis is wonderful. She is so kind and reassuring and takes her time to listen and explain everything. She always makes me feel at ease and I know that she really cares. She has called me from her personal cell phone after hours to deliver important test results and supported me through cancer treatments. I reccomended her to my mom and my grandma and now they both see her as well. Highly recommend.

Dr. Helen is compassionate, dedicated, but most importantly very thorough! She spends adequate time with me, answers all of my questions and always has a smile!

I have been a patient of Dr. Sumigiannis for a number of years now. She and her staff are excellent. I highly recommend her practice. I am 57 years old and benefitted very well from the Mona Lisa Touch procedure. I am Very happy with the lasting results!!!

Dr. Simigiannis is great! I started seeing her as my gynecologist after having witnessed her care and compassion toward a patient in the hospital. She is patient, kind, and makes you feel like you are her only priority at that time.

Dr.Simigiannis is a wonderful doctor, she is kind, caring and makes you feel at ease. I live about 1 hour away from her office, but the drive is totally worth it!

I can't say enough good things about this practice! I have lived in five states and never had a doctor's office provide plus size patient gowns before, so they get a HUGE high five for that. The employees are friendly and courteous and they make me feel cared about and treated with confidentiality, respect, and dignity. The office is decorated nicely and seems very clean. I am a great big chicken about seeing the doctor, and they really put me at ease. I would refer anyone to this practice.
