This review comes after a long road with multiple surgeries starting with a breast reduction and then an incidental finding of cancer, a full double mastectomy, replacement of breasts and then a swapping out surgery from second set of implants that were uneven and uncomfortable with large ugly scars with unattractive rippling. I came to Dr. Parakis feeling defeated and like I would never feel happy again and trying to tell myself to just be grateful I was cancer free and not to be superficial and go through yet another surgery. She was so kind to calmly assure me that this is what she excels at and kept me from feeling like this surgery was frivolous and validated how I longed to look good again and rightfully so after all I had been through. Dr. Parakis replaced my implants and corrected my pockets to get them at an even and symmetrical level she also did liposuction on my thighs and added fat from my thighs around the implants to give them a fuller more blended natural appearance.

This is a well deserved glowing 5 star review for Dr Helen Perakis. Yesterday Dr Perakis and her team operated on my wife for 5 hours. My wife needed a re-do of her breast reconstruction following double mastectomy. A very challenging task. She had no breast tissue to work with, very little fat and previously shifted and excessively mobile pocket of old implant and hypertrophic poorly positioned scar. My wife needed her double mastectomy at a relatively young age. She is very active, exercises regularly and fashion and image conscious. She was plagued by her constantly shifting implant and pain. This is not an easy task to fix. Yesterday Dr Perakis told me the surgery should be about 3 hours. It took 5 hours. 5 hours Dr Perakis and her team spent on patiently getting it right for my wife. I badly injured the tops of my hand in a snow machine accident. The first specialist recommended amputation of 3 fingers on my dominant hand. Fortunately I asked for a second opinion from Helen Perakis who confidently told me she could save my fingers, and she did. Couldn’t be more enthusiastic in recommending her. She is awesome in every way.

Very satisfied. Had a bilateral breast reduction and I am very pleased with the outcome. The surgery went well, pain was minimal and she did a fantastic job of hiding the incisions. I absolutely love my new look. Thank you Dr. Perakis.

Dr. Perakis was doing a straightforward removal of a cyst. I learned later that I should never of been operated on while the area was extremely swollen. During the healing process all of my stitches (internal and external) ripped out of the incision as the swelling went down. What should have taken 6 weeks max to heal took 12 weeks and three rounds of antibiotics to heal. She offered to do another surgery to fix the AWFUL scarring. Now she's moved to NY. Wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

Dr Perakis has a wonderful personality, easy to talk to, I never felt rushed and she answered all my questions. I'm am very happy with the surgery she completed on me and highly recommend her and her office!
