I choose her because of her over 20 year experience, but I regret. She doesn’t care about her patients and her MA Maria very rude. Her MA called me even didn’t greet me. Later just hang up call. I felt attitude from doctor and her assistant.

Minimizes concerns, is passive and isn't warm.
I've been a patient of Dr. Lin's for a few years now. I probably see her once a year on average. She is responsive to emails about medicines and concerns but I consistently feel that my concerns are minimized and blown off, such that I end up scrambling on my own to make sense of what might be going on. I'm not someone who overuses healthcare- especially hers- and I'm an educated person. I end up feeling trivialized by her responses. In person she is benign but not at all warm. Very limited bedside manner. I likely won't change physicians at this point just because of the hassle of starting over with someone else but I would advise anyone getting started to just find someone with more energy, who is warmer and more likely to be actively engaged in their care. This is the type of provider relationship I've been able to set up with other people I've worked with at Kaiser (for the most part with very few exceptions) so it is not a function of the Kaiser system which is generally great.

Made an appointment with Kaiser b/c of stomach pain. Nurse scheduled me w/ the next available doctor (Dr. Lin.) Compared to my other visits with past Kaiser doctors, Dr. Lin performed below my satisfaction. Her explanations of my condition were very vague and short, as if she was trying to diagnosis me as quickly as possible as opposed to efficiently. I've had previous doctors do the opposite where they take the time to run through their diagnostics in order to ensure I am diagnosed correctly.
