Dr. Helard Ballon-Hennings, MD

Dr. Ballon was great. I had started a new job and was without insurance for a few months. Dr was able to get me in right away. But staff never answers phone calls, always received bills in the mail after I had paid in the office. After I had gotten my insurance and had my baby, staff called stating that they had over charged me and that I would be getting a check. Please watch out with staff, unfortunately they are incompetent with billing and handling the office. If Dr. replaced office manager I would gladly return.

Terrible gynecological doctor. He performs tests and gives nothing to the patient. He only says it verbally. I don't want to waste printed paper on anything. If you as a patient do not ask for proof of copay payment during your medical visit with this doctor, they will not even give you that.It has no work staff, only 2 people do everything in that place. The doctor does not use a computer to take data from each patient and his only nurse even less so. The treatment of the secretary who makes appointments is rude, she has a terrible attitude towards the patients. I heard how he talks to everyone constantly.

I tried to call to ask about how much a procedure was, instead I was told about the price of consultation. The woman on the phone wouldn’t give me an estimate of the actual procedure. I told her I didn’t want to waste $100 on consultation if I couldn’t afford the procedure. I asked to speak to a manager and while on hold I was hung up on. I called back and I assume they have Caller Id cause no one picked up my phone call instead I was sent to a voicemail. I called back 3x to try to speak to a live person and got the VM each time. I was coming here for years and I won’t be back.

Never experienced this at a doctor's office. The website has a place where you can request an appointment right on the home page. I'm having major issues so did this and received an email back that my appointment request would be confirmed. My appt. is for tomorrow morning. I have been calling to see if I actually have an appointment. A rude woman just called me back telling me there is no such website where you can request an appointment and when I read her the web address, she became very combative and told me I was wrong, that there are bad websites out there. She told me I did not have an appointment. Then before I could give her any information, she told me I had an outstanding balance at someplace called Meadows. Meadows what, I asked her, as I have no outstanding balance anywhere. My gyne took cash only and she retired last year. She was rude and hung up. All I can say is, I dodged a bullet. I have the correct website right in front of me and the email response back.

This office is one of the most unprofessional offices that I have ever had to deal with. I called on Wednesday 8/18 to make a new patient appointment. Gave all my info to Jasmine & was put on hold after explaining the reason for my visit. The call disconnected & I called back to be put on hold again. Nobody picked up & I didn't have time to sit for a half an hour waiting again. I called on 8/20 & the same exact scenario happened again. This time I was told the system has been down which I know was false because they were looking in the system & found my information. I called back and asked for a manager or supervisor & was transferred to a general mailbox. I left a message to have someone call me back. I received no call so I called back on Monday 8/23 & asked for a supervisor or manager I was told they were out of the office & to leave a message so I did once again to a general mailbox & still as of today 8/26 I have not heard from anyone. Horrible 1st impression Won't be going here!

Due to a move and change of insurance I found myself in third trimester without a OBGyn. I had been recommended to call Dr Ballons office so I did and within 10 minutes of explaining my situation he asked me to come in an hour later. I now have had my several prenatal visits and gave birth to my baby as well as a follow up postpartum visit. I have been nothing but happy and felt welcome at my visits in the office. The nurses are wonderful and Dr Ballon takes his time to make sure any concerns or questions of mine are answered. My delivery of my baby was a good experience due to the care of the doctor and the staff at Southern Hills. I will continue staying with Dr Ballons office as long as it is possible.

Dr. Ballon is amazing, one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He doesn’t treat his patients like just another patient - he truly cares. He takes the time to make sure you fully understand what he is explaining. I had to have emergency surgery, it was the first time I met him. He was SO great at explaining the steps he was going to take, recovery, everything. I can’t recommend him enough!!!
