Great Doctor, office support is terrible
Dr. Karon was my doctor for over 5 years. Stopped due to decline of office support service. Officer supervisor is more interested in assigning blame that correcting problems. It is disheartening when essential services order by the doctor, such as blood tests, require 3 follow up calls to receive the order. Office staff used to be able to provide the order before leaving the doctor's office.

Dismissed my concerns. My bloodtests were not normal. She didn't recommend any changes. I recommend finding another doctor.

Dr. Karon failed to inform a person close to me of a sonogram result indicating the potential for cancer. After 2 months, my friend went to another doctor who indicated that Dr. Karon's records did not make sense. Once the new doctor intervened, Dr. K had someone in her office (not the doctor herself!) call the person close to me to give her the now "old" sonogram results, without even noting the delay or explaining what the delay might mean medically for the patient. Everything about this is unethical.

Love her! Used to see a colleague of hers but had an emergency while on vacation with new insulin. She helped me and told me to call back if it didn’t work. After that I continued to see her. Love the practice as well. Everyone there is nice and caring and you can have blood drawn there no need to go lab.

I have been seeing Dr. Karon for over five years and she is the best endocrinologist I ever had. She is very patient oriented, incredibly knowledgeable, and pleasant. She has helped me get control my diabetes. Even her assistant staff and front office staff are very pleasant and helpful. No comparison with any other offices I go to.
