Dr. Heidi Fowler, MD

Misheard what I said in an appointment and instead of asking me to repeat myself she sent me to a mental hospital for 10 days and got me sent to another state.

I have been seeing Dr. Fowler for a little more than a month and thus far I have been pleased with our interaction. She is very personable and has been flexible to seeing me when needed. She has also been open and honest with regard to what I should expect with reference to my medication, which I appreciate.

I was seen on a regular basis by Dr. Fowler for about three years. She listened to my concerns and discussed the medications with me. My mental health improved under her care. She was very professional and personable. I presently participate in her group therapy weekly sessions and have done so for several years. She leads the group effectively and pays attention to each member. She is honest and polite.

I have been seeing Dr. Fowler for a couple months. I feel that she is truly sincere and looks at my mental health as priority #1. We have mutually agreed to my medication regimen that has, to date, been pretty effective, with just a little tweaking here and there. I look forward to going into the office to let her know what is working and not working. I am often very anxious when I go to MD appointments. Dr. Fowler is very welcoming and listens to everything I have to say. I would gladly recommend her to anyone. She has many years of experience and can relate to service members everyday stressors. I look forward to seeing her again

I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Fowler for approximately 5 months, and I feel that everything she does is in my best interest. I really like the team approach she fosters with the rest of my treatment team, and how she leans away from the medication route whenever there is a non-drug treatment that may help to treat the condition. She's easily accessible, whether I have an appointment or not, and she always makes sure to check in, even If I'm in the clinic for an appointment with a different provider. I look forward to continuing my treatment with Dr. Fowler.

Dr Fowler is truly amazing. She takes the time to treat and help her patients. I wish there were a lot more doctors like her.

I had seen doctors in the passed for anxiety and depression but she was the first to "really treat" me after all this time. She has given me my life back, and really worked with me on getting the right dosage that I needed to improve my life. She is the best at seeing the whole picture of you and not just a standard treatment for everyone. I felt comfortable telling her the truth because I was so depressed I didn't have anything to lose. She has truly changed my life by being honest about the treatments she recommended and about my diagnosis. She was the first to actually explain my diagnosis to me, and not made me feel guilty about it. I'am so happy I found her, she generally cares about each of her patients.

Dr.Fowler was very informative, I was highly skeptical about acupuncture, and didn't believe it would have any effect on me. After one session I feel calm, cool, and collected, more so than i have in a long time. Dr.Fowler is a true doctor, who cares more about patient comfort and making the patient better, rather than just seeing the patient as a number in a system.
